Ranishu Runt

Pet Battles
Supposedly sold by Jenoh, an NPC in Vol'dun

https://www.wowhead.com/npc=135400/jenoh#sells

I've done all the quests associated with Jenoh, but he is not selling the runt. Comments said that he'd send you a piece of mail after doing the quests, but I've not received any mail from him either. Is it bugged? Was just wondering if the runt is available to anyone else.
We haven't found the trigger for that specific pet yet.

Same with the Swamp Toad from Shoak.

Not all triggers are from that specific NPC.
Step 1: You need to do the storyline for Meet the Goldtusk Gang first and foremost: https://www.wowhead.com/quest=47497/meet-the-goldtusk-gang

Step 2: Leads to the quest chain, Ruins-Level Marketing: https://www.wowhead.com/quest=48840/ruins-level-marketing

Step 3: Complete the quest Ranishu Are Resources (part of step 2): https://www.wowhead.com/quest=48332/ranishu-are-resources

That should unlock the Ranishu Runt.

What about Alliance players? Do we have to make a Horde character, level it up, and then do the quests?

Not sure, but I'd guess yes. I haven't checked in a while but IIRC I couldn't interact with Jenoh (vendor that sells the pet) with my Alliance toon. Doable quests or not, doesn't matter if Alliance can't even use the vendor.
For anyone worried, if you do the Vulpera quests first because you stumble on them like I did (AKA before the Goldtusk Gang), and thus you don't get the Ruins Level Marketing Quest, you will still unlock the Ranishu Runt.

It just doesn't appear right away.

You also have to do Jenoh's questline, which ends in him giving you the Serpent Hatchling pet. It starts from a flute on the ground at the temple (where the flight path is) north of him.

About an hour after I finished that, the Ranishu Runt popped up on the vendor for me.
@ Maizou...yup did that, hence the pet in my collections... Still not sure what I missed to unlock Ranishu Runt pet it is driving me insane!
I had gotten the achievement for finishing Vol'dun already, including doing the Goldtusk quests and Ranishu Are Resources, etc and this had not unlocked the pet on the vendor. It was only after I continued questing and completed the quests for the goblins down south of Jenoh, including Charging The Batteries quest that it got unlocked.

Edit: Since making this post, I have taken an alt to Vol'dun. You only need to do a few quests to unlock the ranishu runt, less than 10 in total.

Start at the snake temple where you find the flute laying on the ground that starts the quest to take it to Jenoh. Do his quests to kill the plants & big hydra and send his cobras back to him. Take his next quest to visit the goblins to the south. They have like 3-4 quests, I suspect you can ignore the 'get 20 sand' and 'mark 5 rocks' quests, but the 3rd one (Power Problems) leads to you turning into a ranishu and eating plants. After this, ride north to Omi and take Ranishu Are Resources, can ignore the other 2 Vulpera. Collect ranishu guts and hand it in, then return to Jenoh and you should now see the pet there.

tldr: Charging The Batteries (short series of quests to get to this stage)+ Ranishu Are Resources (no prereqs) are the 2 quests completions needed to unlock this pet.

Thanks for checking this! Updating the other post about unlocking BFA pets.
Have done all the quests in Voldun on my Horde Hunter, and the vendor still does not have the pet for sale. Not sure how to make it appear, I have no quests left to do in the zone on my Horde hunter. And I remember doing the Charging the Batteries quest, it was really fun too.
When did you do the quests?

A lot of the pet-unlock quests got reset when they reset the WANTED quests a while back.

I would download the addon "BTWQuests" and see if there's any quests in the zone that are labeled incomplete.
I contacted a GM and put in a ticket because he did not show up. The GM responded and suggested I put in a Bug Report because after investigating, they said it is NOT WORKING as intended for a some of the players who have done the pre req quests, so they obviously know about it, but probably not a priority for them to fix it.

And I did the quests just last week. The GM said they checked and saw I have done all the quests in Voldun, that's why they told me to put in a bug report.

UPDATE: Added the Quest Complete addon and sure enough, only quests showing up as not done are the WQ's, and I checked the vendor again, still does not have it.
