DH has every ability in the game except MS

My experience playing DH is that they are pretty delicate.
They have to play the lame races though so it’s fair I suppose.

DH are just a damage bot. Compare a warrior/rogues/monks toolkit to a DH and tell me who has more utility/CC options.

Frankly, if DH damage is nerfed they wont be played because they dont have MS or the utility of the above mentioned classes. If blizz wants to nerf their damage, give them MS and additional utility to compensate. Warriors and rogues are played every season for a reason, it doesnt matter if their damage is super high or not. Thats not the case for DH.

And to the OP : Most of what you listed other classes have better, including the class you play. So not sure what you are getting at.

I'm leveling one right now. They actually look pretty fun to play, and I hate playing melee.

DH has plenty of flaws, barely any utility outside of Darkness if talented for.

-No MS, making their viability compared to their primary competitors ( warriors/rogue/monk) incredibly limited.
-No real CC outside of a 1 minute imprison and 2 second stun( That requires a resource to use) on a 1 minute CD.
-No self healing outside of a 2-4 minute CD.

Compared to a warrior -

- Equal or better burst dps
- CC = AOE disorient, ranged stun, Disarm ( No resource requirements )
- Utility = MS, Duel, Banner, Sharpen blade, rallying cry
- Easiest defense in the game in defensive stance.
- Fury has high sustain healing for melee.

Monk

- Similar burst dps
- CC = Paralyze, leg sweep, root/snare, Ranged Disarm
- Utility = MS, Off healing, FoF talent, Ride the wind, Tigers
- Mobility is superior to DH...2 rolls teleport and flying kick

I could list rogue feral and ret paladin as well, but they are all going to be superior to DH in both utility and CC while being similar in damage.

The only thing DH has above the rest is a higher sustain damage potential. If thats removed, you will just have more people playing feral/ret/warrior/rogue.

You literally just list things a DH can do lol. Especially alarming coming from a Balance Druid which needs nerfed 2x over before any other spec in the game is even looked at. Here let's try it with Boomkin:

- anti-melee reflective damage spell thats INSANE
-insane armor
-spammable unkillable bear form
- insane roots that don't break on damage
- insane damage
- cannot be polymorphed
-cannot be hexed

- can STEALTH?!?!
- hovers...
- 5 second undispellable stun
- ranged aoe silence
- ranged instant cast dots that rot your whole team
- insane healer mana conservation spell
-8 second disarm on a 30 second cd

i agree moonkins dumb as !@#$. also i dont play moonkin relax. I want them both and anything like it gone so we can have class identity back

I could never get into DH, just felt like a worse version of Fury warrior.
Op forgot to mention all dh have an eleven-teen & a half inch shmeat that cracks the earth everytime we land from a double jump even the females have them
honestly remove the 100% dodge on blade dance and the class is fine

While I love trying to dodge stuff like bear bash and Sharpen I would be ok with this

If Blade Dance is now going to be DH’s highest damage ability and part of the main rotation I do feel it is pretty unfair to have that on a >7 sec cd
