Metacritic 3.3 user rating

General Discussion
Can't say I disagree, expansion content has been a solid 3-4 for me
Ahh... metacritic user scores. My favorite circle-jerk. Here's how they break down:

Vanilla - 7.3
TBC - 8.0
Wrath - 7.6
Cata - 5.6
MoP - 4.9
WoD - 5.9
Legion - 7.3
BfA - 3.3

Well, WoD is too high, and I’d personally put BC below Classic. Otherwise seems pretty accurate.
Just how many of these metacritic posts are you going to make OP?
Tbh, I think I'd trust the forums to give me more of a fair review of the game than metacritic user scores.
A 3.3 out of what, 100?

That seems about right for BfA.
Considering that most Metacritic reviews are of the "It's good. 10" and "There's one thing I don't like. 0" types, that's not exactly reliable.
It's about right. If you removed all the zero outliers from the people who just gave it zero because they were pissed it would probably be about 5.0 out of 10. Which is a spot on score for BFA.

One every 18 hours.

Yeah I put little faith in the public's rating.

You find people all the time who give something 0/10 but even in their own review will say things like the music was great or the visuals are nice.

The public uses these things as protests much in the way people do with Hotel or Restaurant reviews.

Pretty much on point tbh.
Except for TBC, SW wasn't that great and BT lasted too long.
Vanillia and TBC should switch score.

Considering that the score was generated by a review bomb? Yeah, not that credible.
Who cares.
User scores should always be taken with a grain of salt. People are way too vindictive.

This is almost exactly how I would score it as well.
Couldn't care less. I've never paid much attention to audience ratings, because they're often far too subjective. (And in the case of the WoW community, occasionally hysterical and irrational.)

"oh NOO!!!, this is the 2 nd lockout and no loot blizz "

UNSUBBED

Unpopular opinion: MoP is better than TBC and Wrath.

Also swap WoD and MoP. Even raise MoP a bit to 6.5 or so. WoD definitely below a 5.0 though.

Clearly unpopular. MoP is the second worst expansion of all time. The user reviews have spoken.
