We're working on some targeted spec tuning, which will go live with maintenance in each region starting on October 2. Here's where we currently are with that:

  • Death Knight
    • Unholy
      • All damage (includes pets) increased by 4%.
  • Druid
    • Feral
      • All damage increased by 4%.
  • Mage
    • Fire
      • All damage increased by 5%.
  • Priest
    • Shadow
      • Mind Flay damage increased by 10%.
      • Mind Sear damage increased by 15%.
  • Shaman
    • Elemental
      • Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, and Earthquake damage increased by 15%.
    • Enhancement
      • All damage increased by 5%.
    • Restoration
      • All healing increased by 4%.
      • Healing Surge healing increased by 6%, and mana cost slightly reduced.
  • Warlock
    • Demonology
      • Shadow Bolt, Demonbolt, and Call Dreadstalkers damage increased by 15%.
  • Warrior
    • Protection
      • Vanguard now increases armor by 50% of Strength (was 45%).
      • Vanguard increases Stamina by 40% (was 35%).

As always, we'll have final values for you in a public hotfixes update when the changes go live next week.
lmao those feral buffs every week. See you in 5 months.
Unholy needs a lot more than just a damage buff, my friend.
Lmao feral needs to be buffed every week, that's how bad it is.
I'm surprised Blizzard didn't sneak in a "reduce all DoT's by 10%" to 'compensate' for that shadow buff.
C'mon Devs...buffs to damage on classes already shredding locks and no changes to lock survivability...
Where are those marksman hunter buffs? They are pretty bad also!
Shadow 1% single target dps boost POG

4%? that's it? that's going to do great for the zero DK's in the top 100
also love that there's no changes to locks in PvP whatsoever. 1 lock in the top 100? working as intended. Maldiva at 2400? working as intended. Some balance changes these are.
Looks like I'm maining this character again, and just in time for mythic farm.

Shadow
Mind Flay damage increased by 10%.
Mind Sear damage increased by 15%.

Oh hey. It's... something?
around 1% buff or 2% if you're really, really optimistic.
Are you seriously doing NOTHING for Guardian Druids?

Update: Now it's just Guardian Druids that are left in the dust and even then the Protection Warrior buffs aren't enough to make us competitive, but at least they are doing something to help.
Marksman still needs major changes.

Steady aim is still miles ahead of other traits despite blizzard stating major azerite tuning is done.

Other traits are awful.

Not sure how it's not received absolutely anything in a long time despite nobody playing it.
  • Priest
    • Shadow
      • Mind Flay damage increased by 10%.
      • Mind Sear damage increased by 15%.
Mind Flay is between 8-12% of Shadows damage. That's a 0.8-1.2% single-target damage buff.

Similar for Elemental, Lightning Bolt is ~10% of their damage. Buffing that by 15% hardly does anything.
!@#$ Frost DK I guess

What about healer changes? Buffs/Nerfs ? Rshaman for example
  • Priest
    • Shadow
      • Mind Flay damage increased by 10%.
      • Mind Sear damage increased by 15%.

This misses the point by such a large margin that it is almost insulting to even implement it. You have just buffed Shadow by about 1%, which is on the high end depending on the fight, even. Surely there are better ways to go about buffing Shadow's single-target if that's the intention?
I don’t know in what alternate reality they are where a pitiful ~3-4% buff to demonology is going to make it not dumpster fire.

The 10% buff to destro builders to compensate for crashing chaos are pretty worthless as well.
Can we see some Ret paladin love? Feels like every spec is being buffed around it while we fall behind untouched. We're already middling and probably the lowest melee.
This is the saddest excuse for a balance patch I have ever seen.
