That doesn't mean people stop being people when they work for a rich company. What is really wrong here is that we apparently forgot that we've all made typos before. We all make mistakes. And yet we can't allow others to do the same on some righteous grounds of "BUT THE COMPANY". Who cares?

Well if you were told to send something out right NOW I'm sure you would try to do it as fast as possible. And that could mean it might have a typo in it.

I know it's popular to throw unwavering support behind a small indie company, but come on. They should have corrected their mistake or at least apologized.
