The power of one word

Classic Discussion
How would you feel about sharding if Lore had said this...

"...we do believe that some form of sharding may be helpful in those early days."

...instead of what was actually said:

...we do believe that some form of sharding may be helpful, especially in those early days.
(emphasis added)
I mean that would help, but still no. Classic and sharding do not belong in the same sentence. It's not a hard concept: make it like it was 14 or w/e years ago. That's it.
it would make a big difference

My eyes locked onto that word as well. :(
NO Sharding in classic.
So another way of saying what Lore wrote would be,

Sharding is going to be in the entire game, but it is ESPECIALLY helpful in the early days
That would be even worse and would suggest that it wouldn't be limited to the first few weeks.
They both look like

Just the tip!

to me.
Its squirrely language used to placate and deflect blame. Lore essentially said the game is going to be entirely sharded with a few tweaks. I'm genuinely flabbergasted at how tone deaf they could be.
