ToD & Serenity

Monk
Does serenity increase the damage of touch of death?
No it doesn’t. Infact I just tested it and it did 20% less damage some how.

Lolwut
Did you do damage the first time other than ToD before it went off?
ToD adds 10%of the damage you deal to its total damage. Serenity buffs the damage you deal during its time by 20%. But SEF is an extra 100% damage for its duration, 50% for each. They benefit ToD far more.

Is this true even considering your CDs are lower and cost no chi during serenity?

If ToD and abilities are used properly, then all abilities should be able to be used in the few seconds you have to pay up the ToD. You may get one or two extra hits in but not enough to make up for the loss of sef
I used it on the same training dumby with no damage put into it. The first ToD without serenity hit for 130k with serenity and orc racial the second one hit for 100k
Check it out I tried it again same result https://imgur.com/a/iRTAFYF

If you use it back to back it will remove your mastery bonus

SEF is an extra 35% for its duration, each spirit does 45% your normal damage. During SEF, touch of death only takes damage that you specifically do, but it takes 30% instead of 10% to offset the reduced damage.
