Live QnA on Reddit, the Live QnA on twitch.

Most the questions being taken from Twitter.

Can you please stop using these third party platforms for your community outreach? They are failing you.

Why? Because they aren't actually the issues players seem to actually care about.

There is no guarantee on these third parties that the people actually play the game. The forums they need to have an active sub.

I have noticed everytime you have one of these QnAs or Live Streams they are never actually the issues people are talking about on the forums.

And seeing that most people don't seem happy with your communication as of late why not cut out the middle man third party and go straight to your player base?
Doesn't matter where they drag their questions from, they'll cherry pick the s*** out of it.
It's like looking at the Riot forums 5 or so years ago...lol

good luck with that. Devs hate forums as far as I can tell.
A huge part of the Q&A was devoted to azerite armor. You're right, nobody here talks about that.

Let me guess. You didn't get the answers you wanted so you're claiming they didn't talk about the issues people care about here?
They aren't going to answer a question they don't have a solid researched response to.

They aren't going to accidentally answer a question they aren't prepared for.

If they had a list of 5 questions from "the community" but only had answers for 1, you'd get one question answered.
There's literally a sticky at the top of the forums where we asked you to submit questions for the Q&A.

I don't care if I get the answers I want or not. But I think these are wastes of time that could be used in better ways.

No offense but I don't think there is any real public demand for DK starter zones for allied races with the current state of the game.

If they had a list of 5 questions from "the community" but only had answers for 1, you'd get one question answered.

Then they need to do more research and get ready to answer more questions. Otherwise, it's not a "Questions & Answers", it's a "Cherry-picked Question & Lawyer Speak".

Last time they decided to admit to something behind the scenes, they flat out told Demonology Warlocks they just didn't want anyone to play that spec. Because not only could they not design on par with the former Warlock lead - they couldn't even balance his specs, so they had to utterly gut them.

The Q&A drew from the forums it looks like (though again, cherry-picked), but my main issue is updates and communication primarily on Twitter. I don't use the site, so following updates is a hassle.

I saw that but why take any questions from Twitter then?

Not all questions need to be from just the forums. Not everyone uses or reads them.

Not everyone who's interested, plays, or is invested in WoW is on the forums?

Not everyone is on Twitter.

Not everyone is on Reddit.

Are you asking why they sourced questions from various places?

Is there a reason the "Live" part can't be on your own website?

Also, why are you "literally" so snarky all the time when there is zero call for it?
Twitter is a great place to get real interaction with WoW peeps but you have to deal with one of the most dysfunctional social media platforms. I'd rather not login to that cesspool which, since I post here frequently, should say a lot.

that response was snark to you?
These forums aren't the best way to do Q&As.

But I would like to see them take questions directly from stickied posts here.

If we have dedicated forums to discuss various topics.

Forums dedicated to PvP. Dedicated to classes. Etc.

Then they should be taking questions from those sources. Today seemed a lot Twitter and the last one was all Reddit.

If people care enough about the question and actively play the game then they will go and post it on the forums and it should promoted as such.

Not everyone uses the forums. Forums are a very small percentage of any user base, even WoW.

There are some folks that use say Twitter for instance that refuse to come here, but still play the game. There are even folks submitting questions on Facebook that don't like either Twitter or the forums. Just like some players on the forums dislike Twitter, there are folks who have the opposite opinion.
