Enhancement 8.1 spaghetti latest changes

Allow me to provide you the answer to the enhancement spaghetti. The whole changing damage to the aura vs the actual abilities i think is a SUPER clever way to cover changes or make people think there staying the same when there not. Every single ability has been BUFFED 1-5% depending, healing has stayed the same. Of course with the changes to things like ride the lightning and removal of static cling this overall winds up being a damage loss overall in pvp and damage gain in pve.
Was static cling removed in a previous push? I dont see that change reflected in this update.

I really hope they dont kill it entirely...

yes there has been a lot of changes in several other updates that arent actually compiled everywhere to be seen yet sadly. Some other major changes can be seen here:

Though that also doesnt include the static cling removal.

Really not sure why there is no place where the entire list of changes can be seen but im sure blizzard will botch the actual patch notes as they always do and forget things.
are these buffs or nerfs and does blizzard know what to do with this class anymore?

from the latest it looks like major nerfs sadly..... good bye my main class of 10 years :(
I think it’s a buff to talent option viabilities but if all the talents are soooo boring it feels like a boring change.
At the very least one interesting active talent option would have been a nice addition instead of all the flat and boring talents we have that are minor tweaks to our weapon enchantment buffs etc.

and they removed the aura that reduces ur dmg by 43% technically increasing ur dmg by 43%... there for its a wash
They removed the 43% negative aura...lets be honest, thats what it was. But then they go and reduce damage to spells by 80%, 150%...TWO HUNDRED %...so basically they did nothing. got rid of the aura, then decreased the damage on all damaging spells and abilities to bring us back to where we are right now.

It's just a wash to cover up the 43% buff....

Jeez reading is hard.
Is what they did it remove a weakness buff of 46% which nerfs us by 46% (so basically a buff.) Then they nerfed some of the talents(not all) to compensate for this 46% buff. We are also getting a 5% damage buff flat out. This is an overall buff. This was all to cover up not doing this balance before launch. Still i believe it's going to put us closer to the middle of the pack. On top of the new azerite traits.

Have they ever? I would like for at least one expansion to be a DPS that others look for, that people really want in the group. Outside of the one mandatory shaman for raids before the class buff change, we have always been outdone by other classes.
basically by removing the fing huge negative damage aura, end might actually scale... Just saying... Spec is still wod frost dk lite..
I think that the thing that bugs me the most is how long these changes took.

Balancing classes in current WoW PvE should be easy, groupwide utility has been pruned to the point where the classes barely interact with each other. There are few if any unique trinket or set effects. Items are normalized and secondary stats are both balanced and honestly weak. The devs know EXACTLY what's gonna happen with a class after a buff or nerf, there's few variables at all. If they over buff a class numerically it can be fixed instantly without almost any repercussions, literally nothing is going to break and if it does, consequences are minimal, there's no reason to delay numerical changes for MONTHS. Most PvP games do a much better and faster balancing that WoW does with its PvE system.
The "changes" are tooltip fixes of currently existing statistics communicating to the database. I've logged into PTR and currently we hit the same if not slightly harder. Though I think earthen spike is bugged as I hit for nothing with it and then do the same damage after.
