...that is if he is telling the truth. i am not very eager to believe the devs anymore.

My bet is we'll raid her (to give Alliance players the satisfaction of killing her) but she'll come back after death again somehow. So she'll be a raid boss, but not just a raid boss.
with the pattern they have already turned two of the war bringers into raid bosses, but that doesn't she will die as a raid boss. i think if she is raid bossed, she will ultimately get away. she will go off the radar for a while and pop back up in a future expansion
Afrasabi implied she wouldn't die in a raid. See, we will defeat her in a raid.

Then in the next expansion there will be a cinema of her and Anduin alone in a field. After Sylvanas sobs "YOU MADE ME WHAT I AM!" Anduin will crush her in a huge hand made of The Light.

Man, these new BFA writers are so good!

if they legit did that i would laugh and cry.
In the WoW universe, Sylvanas is a master strategist, in BtS the Alliance are consistently fawning over how Sylvanas is always one step ahead of them. I highly doubt she sharing here action or lack there of that lead to the Wrathgate.

Your sheep reference is about WoW characters right?

Yes it was originally referring to the Horde as an organization.

For such a master strategist she has died quite alot of time. Sure she has flashes of brilliant tactics but overall she keeps failing her long term goals(like killing Arthas, hell even just killing herself to have peace backfired)

The Gul'dannying approaches...
It makes sense that Saurfang would kill Sylvanas now that we know that she is directly responsible for his son's death.

Consider Sylvanas has a few ressurections left how about the Alliance/Horde take turn killing before we finally bury her underground.

Imagine the cesspool this forum would be if Sylvanas never fails at something.

Try again, I can't say it wasn't a nice try tho.

Ugh. Now this absurd pointless retcon makes sense. Then 2 expansions from now, Baine will find out Warchief Gallywix is the one who killed Cairne.
Conclusions I gleaned from this interview:

1. Blizzard considers it "interesting" when they write so inconsistently that fans are left arguing over what the writers are trying to convey.

2. Blizzard doesn't think Alliance players need or want an "interesting" story.

3. The "choice" Blizzard inserted into the Saurfang scenario is just a mean trick they're playing on Sylvanas fans-- because there's a "right" choice and a "wrong" choice, and we already know which is which.

4. Sylvanas is definitely going to be "just a raid boss".

Quick "I dont normally use current event reference but ill make an exception" but that just show me what kind of people the Horde are. I am not even suprise how easy it could be considering it is happening all over the world(the sheeps of the world, following the Donald Trumps of the world to a proverbial cliff)

Oh please, I never like your posts but this struck a nerve. Just cuz people wanna roleplay with Sylvanas do not make them mass murders.

I have never used a gun nor will ever use a gun but I still kill people in call of duty. If you honestly can't separate game from reality then you have major issues my dude.

Honestly I think that's your problem. In every post. You hate the Horde ingame so you immediately hate the players. Get over yourself and seek help. It's a video game.

I find it assume you thought i was talking about horde fans/players(if I was, which I do sometimes, I make sure it is specifically mentioned)

If anything I suggest people who want to play armchair psychologist to maybe take a look at the mirror first. Hell, you simply assumed the worse about my post because i despise the Horde.

Sylvanas has never not been duplicitous or evil. Not in vanilla. Not in cataclysm. Not now.

She's above becoming a raid boss.

LoL Garrosh 101 - Don't intentionally plan for the death of an aggressive Warchief
I do thank the OP for posting this. It is revelatory and informative.

I can take ret cons and lies. What disturbs me most is the out right arrogance and gall to claim their incoherence equates to passion on our part.

You're just a character, Treng. If the person behind that avatar ever feels like posting, let us know.

Garrosh is super dead, last I checked.

I'm not ruling out Sylvanas being used to herald in the next expansion ala Gul'dan or Garrosh. I'm just saying she's absolutely going to be a raid boss, in spite of the weak misdirection.

I agree with that. Like, blah blah blah it's just a game and all that, but they really are hurting and disappointing folks who have been loyal followers of the franchise for decades.

It's uncomfortable seeing them rub their hands together so gleefully while admitting all the strife and confusion and outrage is intended.

slow torture. then when she dies, her valks will resurrect her and do it over again
See, who needs Old Gods when the BFA writers make us mad already.
People are downright jet-packing to conclusions in this thread. You are being baited - he has said absolutely nothing in this interview about the story to come except that he wants to stir up !@#$. He is succeeding.

He doesn’t say that one side will be wrong and another will be right. That is our reading, but not explicit in his words. He says absolutely nothing.

The main takeaway here is that Blizzard thinks this story is a success as long as they stick the landing - unaware that they’ve died midair.
