WoW Workshops: Learn. Share. Discuss.

Wyrmrest Accord
Hey! I'd like to bring to your attention a community-oriented out of character project called WoW Workshops. Workshops are out of character seminars with a variety of speakers where you are invited to come, share, learn, and enjoy the act of sharing and learning together. We cover many topics such as history and how it applied to World of Warcraft roleplay, how to play villains and evil characters as well as heroic ideas, creating and making neat graphics for event posters, class and racial lore and more!

Want to run your very own Workshop? Contact us and we'll set you up with whatever you need! It's our goal to have as much good old sharing and learning crammed into this place as we can manage. Please don't hesitate to volunteer if you don't feel confidant enough to lead your own yet, too.

We use a Discord server at https://discordapp.com/invite/rTvdt6 and a Tumblr at https://wow-workshops.tumblr.com/ with alot of information.

Our next seminar is on November 21st, 630pm server in Discord and the topic this month is Mage Class Lore and Roleplay. We have two slots open for speakers with Fizzwop talking about technomagic.

Our next planning meeting is in Discord on November 28th at 630pm and there's a monthly poll to determine the following month's topic of discussion, so if you have a particular subject of interest be sure to join in and get involved.
Don't have the time to teach personally, but you're all free to use my resources for any future classes or teaching.

They include full lists of every alcohol, herb and mineral that I'm aware of the in lore, including all applicable details. Current count is 1,317 unique entries.

Furthermore, if you're covering any novels or anything of the like, I've made a full chronological book order:

If you have any focus on languages, I was the first to translate the Common alphabet. You can see my work here:

Those are terrific resources! I've actually linked those to guildmates before in the past. I'll get those links to the coordinator and thank you very much for contributing ^^
Hello! Elstine here!

I'm always learning something new at the Workshops. There are so many folks that have a lot of experience and/or crazy amounts of research on various topics that we can apply to our roleplay.

There is a poll monthly to determine the following month's topic of discussion, so if you have a particular subject of interest be sure to join in and get involved.

We look forward to seeing you!
Bump!
