Think we can impact retail?

Classic Discussion
No matter what MMO you are playing sharding and phasing are just terrible things. Maybe our fighting is sending a message.

Most people hate being forced to use personal loot.

Most of us would love to play retail under different circumstances. Some things like the variety of flashy mounts and transmog will never go away. But a few core elements of the game could possibly change.

It could change from a solo game to a social game again. It could change from a "you're the best person in the world, you saved Azeroth here's a legendary, now upgrade it for 2 years straight!" type game back to "you're a schmuck, let's see you kill this dragon with greens? Ha ha no one cares if you do or not."

only if the people want to be social though, and you still need people to do any serious content, you just have more options if you do not want to.

Phasing is a huge beast , the phasing I like is a zone or an area actually showing changes based on events.

if you don't like retail so much then why are you playing retail ?
If there is no sharding or changes, it would give many game companies something to think about.

Tried Legion for 1 month, tried BfA for 1 month. Trying was better than not trying.
two mmos classic and retail for $15 ill take it im not concerned about killing wow retail ill play both.when im done with my main its off to classic and since im not a raider ill spend alot of time in classic playing my 2hd enhancement shaman.
I think so. Based on what Ion was saying when describing the systems on the Classic Q&A at least he understands that the community has suffered immensely from the mindless systems added to the game. There is a balance... a balance between OG Everquest and New WoW. They hit this balance in Vanilla.
