Jim Henson 75th birthday.

Movies, TV and Entertainment
As some people may or may not know Jim Henson(RIP to so a great man) 75th birthday is today. Anyway I thought it would be cool if we link some of the most memorable muppets/sesame street/etc moment that you remember.

Here are some of mine:

Jim Henson marshaled an army of puppeteers, artisans, choreographers, musicians and comedians, but the soul of the Muppets was his. Emerging in a period of American history where childhood risked becoming short and cheap, he brought his make-believe world into the real one, inviting kids to be happy, innocent and full of dreams again.

Henson wasn't so much a performer as he was a proclaimer, as earnest and gently whimsical as Kermit the Frog. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC440k6iByA)

When Henson left us, the magic went with him, but his traditions remain — and we remember him, watching for rainbows.

My favorite for sure.
