Easy way for mac users , Throw it in the garbage, its useless OS errors, and insides on the comps are all the same so ill continue to laugh and your complaints on mac issues .... on the other topic 64bit will not benefit this game at all unless your acutally dumb enough to try to be running a 64bit OS with 4gb or less ... this game uses more ram >CPU>then video card. its an OLD program (still dx9) minus the water etc, so until they make the whole game dx11 x64 wont see a bit of improvement, arguements welcome I worked for a leading graphic designer for games many years ago when all we had was dx 9 and dx 10.
Seriously? Removing Vengeance from PvP isn't the way to fix Blood DKs and to a MUCH lesser extent Protection Paladins being wtfomgbbq Overpowered in Random Battlegrounds. It's how Blood and Prot pallies deal more damage than the other tank specs BEFORE Vengeance is applied and how those damage dealing abilities interact with Vengeance once they are applied. 1v1 on a target dummie (so no vengeance), a DK will have a substantially higher damage output vs a Protection Warrior in equal gear. As will a Protection Paladin, in that same situation.
Removing Vengeance will not solve the problem, it will make it so derps without a soothe / tranq shot / shiv won't have to cry on the forums about how retardedly OP'd they are. It will just mean they are still OP'd, just not retardedly so.
LOL, do you know how retardedly easy it is to kite/cc/faceroll a prot pally in PvP? No snares, one slow (if glyphed), one stun. If you can't handle that, then...Don't PvP.
Woot, no more QQ about it then. Now we can get on about serious issues...like nerfing Paladins and Mages.
Nerfing palidins is so not a needed nerf. Us poor prot pallies need extra dps for BG's. My main is port, this one I rolled to learn how to play Holy.
So far i don't see how Holy Pallies needs nerf either. What am i gonna do, heal you to death? I still got no DPS.
Every other class except pallies needs nerfs. All of them... so I can win for a change.
^^^^^ Nerfing Seal of Truth was a painful nerf that was really not necessary too....so add that to the list, in conjunction to the Holy nerfs.
During this patch, 4.3, i have been missing on bosses in Dragon Soul, on raid finder and normal Dragon Soul as well. However, i am hit capped. I'm also missing on the dummies. I think this bug should be resolved for this patch.
People seem to be missing the major thing about 4.3.2
the (x86) tag
That means the 64-bit client is coming along nicely.
Sweet, never noticed that before you pointed it out!
01/09/2012 06:16 AMPosted by ShieldTank specs should have never attempted to be viable for pvp.
Niether should heals or dps... Why should one spec type only be viable in only one aspect of the game? I loved playing a prot warrior in bg's during wrath. Couldn't kill anything but had epic CC skills on multiple targets. Then blizzard goes and kills it because of people complaining about how unfair it was that prot warriors didn't kill them but CC'd them till someone else came along to kill them. Now baddies don't understand constantly hitting a tank with melee attacks in a BG is bad so blizzard kills every tank class in BG's because of thier complaints and not learning strategy.
So someone like myself that only likes playing tanks, having one of every tank class max leveled and PVP with them, no longer will be viable in BG's because of the few bads. Not to worried about this toon so much as my warrior and pally. Thier only way of dealing any type of decent damage in defense was due to vengance.
Blood will be perfectly viable in 4.3.2
You won't be able to hit baddies for 50k anymore.
Ya so my PvE blood spec will still work fine, I'm more worried about the arena side of things. Gonna go from 2k to 1500.
So, you'll be going back to where you belong?
I see not a thing wrong with this.
When is 4.3.2 live? Tuesday?
4.3 was the first time Blizzard ever announced ahead of time when a patch was going live. That said, they have never gone from talking about a path to it being live just a few days later.
I was able to pvp before vengance and I'll be able to pvp after the vengance nerf I earned my sargent title as a prot pally in Vinilla wow, the name of the game is adapting .

This entire post comes off as a bit odd. The Mac client is a viable alternative and is constantly seeing improvements. Since the Mac OS segmentation seems to keep growing (or is, at least, staying rather stable) Blizzard should by all means support it. More and more developers are starting to break into the Mac gaming market. With Steam available on the operating system and Valve pushing many of their best titles there, it's only going to be an uphill battle from there.
For 64-bit not benefiting users that are "dumb enough to be running a 64-bit OS with 4 GB or less", how do you wager that? If anything, 64-bit would better support players with more memory. Standard 32-bit applications are limited to 2 GB of address space, or 4 GB if they're large address aware. Simply compiling an application as 64-bit gives you exponentially more space to work with.
Remember that when WoW was released 512 MB was a very common amount of memory. Now the game wants 1 GB minimum, or 2 GB+ if you want to play with reasonable performance. Having a 64-bit executable gives WoW the wiggle room it needs to continue to grow throughout the years. Most games don't have the luxury of years upon years of support and polish. I would be surprised if the game didn't continue to use more memory with each additional expansion pack.
To touch on your DirectX 9 vs. DirectX 11 point, World of Warcraft doesn't utilize D3D11 to improve visual quality. D3D11 is here almost for the sole purpose of improving performance. The API is significantly more efficient, and I wouldn't be surprised if it became the default option a couple years down the road. On my system, I see over a 50% increase in FPS at times when utilizing DirectX 11. Here are some of my benchmarks comparing DX9 vs DX11:

01/09/2012 04:59 PMPosted by OmegalYes. I can confirm that we are fixing that issue in 4.3.2.
As well as many other good fixes and improvements :) A lot of mac specific goodies.
Mac latency indicator fixed
Mac input device fixes.
Mac crashing on Dragonsoul Cinematics possibly fixed (PTR feedback needed)
Smaller data sizes (Both mac and PC)
64 bit (PC and maybe mac?)
Wish 4.3.2 was already live ;)
Not only are macs overpriced, but have way too many calories to be good for you.
01/10/2012 10:17 AMPosted by Glacialisnexconstantly hitting a tank with melee attacks
So people who don't have any other alternative than melee attacks should reroll because you play a tank in pvp?
Tanks will have a harder time killing other players in pvp, due to lower dps. However, you will still be able to kill more players than healers can.
