McDonalds hiring to win?

Games, Gaming and Hardware
Hello, I have quick question, and I didnt know where else to put this.

My freind is trying to apply at good ol micky d's. However when he goes to their website to apply, it takes him to this site

https://gate.aon.com/Candidate/hiringtowin/LandingPage

It seems shady to him because its questions off the back are birth day month, last 4 digits of SSN. Then again it is a application site.

Can anyone validate this for him?

Also: I have looked up the site, and there doesnt appear to be any reports about it.
Hmm, im not sure. I looked it up but I didnt find any scam reports from it, maybe someone else can provide light.
While finding info on it is marginally annoying, a collection of links I managed to pull up makes it look quite legit. There are several complaints about it (of the same nature that you have), but there is also notations on one site about how to access Hiring To Win from the McDonald's owner/operator's office computer -- this lends it credibility. Furthermore, the parent company is a human resources organization.

I'd wager it's a relatively new implementation, not entirely bugproof...but legit. Make sure you're getting a secure connection (https) when using it.

Looks like its ok. Cant he just apply in person?
These days if you go there in person and ask for an application, a lot of the time they'll just tell you to apply online. Happened to me a bunch when I was looking for my first job, and that was several years ago so I would imagine it's only gotten more prevalent since.
A lot of places are starting to send people online to apply, as it's just easier to have them submitted to everyone in a district at once as opposed to just one store.

I mean, that's how Gamestop does it anyway; but we still have paper apps on hand and hand them out pretty much whenever we're asked if we're hiring.
