Are resto Druids really that weak?

Battlegrounds
So I started doing rbgs when cross realm came out and I've been turned down group invites due to being a resto "Druid". They say they die to fast and they lack the healing. I just healed 12 million in a rbg against players who were 2100-2350 (a Holy palidan being 2350 and only healed 7mil) that's like 5 mil more than the 2350 h Pali. I also only died 3 times the whole game, being in battle of gilneaus, and had 30+ clones and at least 25 roots to prevent rogues and dks off the flag. So I don't we why people would decline a player due to class without even knowing the players play style. It's utterly ubserd. I'm not "QQing" or "raging", I've just come to realization that it is nearly impossible to find a group past 1800 that'll let a resto Druid in. I hope resto Druids, the good ones, post in this forum. I'd like some feedback. Ingame mail chrisden-muradin if you wanna group with me or wanna see pics of the score table In rbgs. I average from 8-14 mil a game.
People are idiot sheep, if they see other people turning down a class/spec they will follow suit.

Yes.
That's an arguable statement, it takes us to 5 dps to kill me in a rbg, and it takes them quite a bit
NAO Gaming has atleast 4 Resto Druids over 2200 RBG rating. I agree with Chansey.
As do i
rdruids are one of the strongest healers if you're running a 4 heal comp.
It's absolutely insane what they can do against a dot cleave.
In addition, they can hot up a priest to allow them to MD UAs like they're beating up someone who collects disability.
I run 3heal comps and it works great actually, no healer gets near my heals or CCs
If you're surviving then the other teams are doing it wrong. Resto druids are easily the weakest healer in the game atm for survivability.

Sounds like some terrible DPS.
They need to keep that evasion and get stronger defensive CDs honestly. The whole reason resto druids were such a pain in the past was because of strong HoTs plus their mobility.

But with the amount of gap closers everyone has these days that mobility doesn't count for much so its easy to maintain uptime on them, which sadly means dead drood.
The level of survivability between a resto shaman and a resto druid isn't even in the same state let alone same ballpark. You can tank multiple people ( or should be able to ) and survive for a decent duration as a Rshaman. Most dps can solo a Rdruid in a matter of seconds. Don't even try to compare the two atm.

Im a rogue, this means I HATE healers and even I can see that Rdroods need serious attention for survival in pvp.

Probably the best, though uhhh, few, things a rdruid can be claimed for in high rateds.

Unfortunately, they seriously need attention (Though I wouldn't mind having some attention too~)
Resto druids are not that bad in RBGs. Their weakness in arena can be compensated in RBG settings.
Let me add this, a resto druid is only as week as his team mates. I have been in two rbgs on this guy with a team who ran with 3 rogues who's sole job was to protect the healers and we destroyed the other team in both of those games.

If a resto druid dies in a rbg, it also the fault of his team members for not protecting him. Yes we are weak, but when I got attacked, I popped barkskin, and hit travel form to get away from my attacker while my rogues destroyed my attacker. I had over 6 mil healing in both of those games and both were easy wins.

If you aren't protecting your healers, then you deserve to lose.
A resto druid in the hand is dead, but one in the bush is easily worth his weight in Copper wire.
