easy Drakes

General Discussion
I know a lot of people prolly post about this...but i would like to know what the easiest way is to get a drake...and please be detailed...thanks in advance
The Bronze drake from H CoS is the easiest. Just beat the 25 minute timer.
The 50 mount Albino drake is 2nd.
Netherwing drakes were easiest for me. Just do the easy reputation quests for a few days.
The red drake is the easiest. 1300 jp and 200g and you are set.
^ correct.

A relatively easy grind that nets you a lot of drakes and goes toward your 50 mount drake is Netherwing rep in outland.

Getting the Wyrmrest tabard and running heroic wrath dungeons will get you access to a red drake with relative ease.
The red drake from Wyrmrest Accord is easy too. You can buy it from their quartermaster once you're exalted, and if you don't want to grind out rep, you can buy commendations with justice points.

The Wyrmrest one? It's only 200g now?

Pretty sure running H CoS at 85 in under 25 minutes is significantly easier then that. (;

Red drake requires exalted repuation with Wyrmrest Accord. Throw on a tabard, chain run a bunch of dungeons, and you're done.
I'm not going to argue that the Albino drake is hard but unless you have a lot of faction reps at exalted already it's very time consuming.

Definitely, lol.

Oh, the black drake from Obsidian Sanctum is easy too.
Time lost, stay at spawn point for hours on end, dont move and hope to hell the the placeholder doesnt spawn :)
egg hunt for nether drakes in shadowmoon valley
For me, the green protodrake was easy. I got it in my third egg.

Good for you, but it's not easy.

What A Long, Strange Trip it's Been[/url], covering the entire year, you'll get Reins of the Violet Proto-Drake.

1 year farming achievs is not easy.
The Bronze and Red drakes are most likely the easiest dragon mounts to get.

ONE Bronze drake can be obtained by escorting Arthas and killing the optional boss in 25 minutes during the Culling of Strathholme encounter. It has a 100% chance of dropping ( I think ) from the boss, and is soloable at level 85.

A Red Drake can be obtained by getting to Exalted with Wyrmcrest Accord. To get exalted, you can either:

1: Get a tabard from the Quartermaster and keep running Wrath of The Lich King dungeons until you have killed enough dungeon mobs.

2: Buy badges from a Silver Convenant ( Alliance ) or Sunreaver ( Horde ) Quartermaster in Dalaran. ( As I have seen, only one of the Quartermasters actually sells the badges ) These badges when used will give you about 500 reputation each.

Netherwing Drakes are also an option. In order to get one, you need to be Exalted with Netherwing and complete the quest chain 'Bow to the Highlord', which will ((SPOILERS FOR ANYONE WHO'S BEEN LIVING UNDER A ROCK)) send you to Shattrath after your identity has been revealed by Illidan Stormrage in Netherwing Ledge. There, you can choose to get one of the 6 Drakes available.
In order to get to Exalted with Netherwing, you need to do daily quests and collect Netherwing Eggs around Netherwing Ledge for around 3-7 days ( at level 85 ). This can be done at level 70, you just need to be careful of the numerous elite mobs wandering around.

Netherwing Ledge can be found southeast of Shadowmoon Valley, and you will need to complete a short rescue quest chain in Netherwing Fields. ( One of the quests is a group quest. )
