Mobile Alerts Prepaid Phone Error

Pretty much what's on the box. I cannot get past the enter your phone number section. Upon entering my number it keeps telling me that my phone is prepaid cannot be used. My phone is very much a standard phone and I have had this phone number for over 5 years now...

Although it was ported over to Virgin Mobile (Canada) about a year ago (Which is a subsidiary of Bell Canada)
I to am haveing this iusse i used boost moblie have text and data plan ( and still unable to reg for moblie alerts)
Any updates on this?
Seems like this is a common issue, an Idea when this will be addressed? or is there a work around coming where as people can call into customer service and have it added manually?
