Clash of the Battlescar:- World RP/PVP Event

Synopsis

Following the attack on Bloodwreck Bay, a Horde naval base in Southern Durotar, the Alliance withdrew and began to calculate the Horde's next move. Having temporarily disabled a majority of the Horde's fleet, the threat of a naval invasion of Theramore was diminished.

Horde leaders convened, and unanimously they decided upon retaliation. Committed to revenge, they began to march upon their first target: Northwatch Hold. The forces of the Kor'kron Legion, Sunguard, Dominion of the Sun, and Hand of Vengeance mobilized for a massive invasion by land.

The battle for Northwatch lasted for days. In its wake, the bay was stained with blood and littered with corpses of those who fell in a valiant struggle. Despite the gruesome toll, the Horde pressed on.

Alliance spies later learned that the Horde had been planning a last ditch effort to take the fortress. Simultaneously, they sought to use the attack as a ruse to distract the armies while a massive caravan of siege weaponry and supplies were transported to Desolation Hold. Placing the defense of Northwatch as first priority, the Alliance held fast to the beleaguered fortress and sent a small contingent force to deal with the caravan.

On the final day, the Horde unleashed their assault on the fortress and the caravan began its trek across the Southern Barrens. In spite of the contingent force's efforts, they were not able to intercept the caravan. A breach had taken place, and the war had only expanded.

Yet, not all was lost for the Alliance. The remaining reinforcements arrived at the fortress just in time to stem the tide. The Horde had nearly taken the keep, but in a final rush of glory, the Alliance broke their offensive and forced them to withdraw. Northwatch Hold remained standing, but the price was yet to be realized.

With its primary objective met, the Horde now turns its attention to Fort Triumph. The Alliance must prepare its defense, lest they allow Theramore to be vulnerable. Drawing on allies near and far, the inevitable Clash of the Battlescar will be won through courage, strength, and bloody attrition.

OOC

Horde forces will be posted in Desolation Hold, Alliance will be in Fort Triumph. Weeks Events

The main start of the battle will take place from June 4th - June 8th. On the third of June each faction will be holding a summit to discuss the future battle that is about to take place, and to gain enough support from either side for an attempt of each team trying their hand at taking victory.

Alliance Summit:- Sunday June 3rd at 6:00pm (Please ask one of the coordinators Alliance side for the location if interested in joining)

Horde Summit:- Sunday June 3rd at 7:00pm (Please ask one of the coordinators Horde side for the location if interested in joining)

June 4th

The first day of this event will be role play orientated with no pvp, unless people decide to go at it in the middle for fun. There will be feasts, rp event, and so forth, as players and their guilds slowly flock into the battlescar and to their respective holds.

June 5th
Let the PVP begin, we will be doing a healthy mix of PVP/RP for all those who are participating with a controlled PVP segment and a free for all in the battle scar.

June 6th
A continuation from the following day with a different controlled environment and story to go with it, all the while the bodies from the battle scar will be piling up as the factions go at it against each other.

June 7th
The eve before the big battle, frictions will be met, supplies running low, individuals tiring out, but they will press on. The battle in the scar can not be rested upon, the trenches littered in limbs and blood. A continuation of the world pvp, and role play will continue.

June 8th
The final battle; each faction has been going at it for days, today is the final battle of the event, where victory or defeat is named. Good luck to all those participating as the war on battle scar is made, and ended this day.

Historical - Siege of Bloodwreck Bay Outcome

The Alliance gained momentum with their initial victory on the coasts of Durotar. After securing the beach front, they proceeded to overtake Sen'jin Village and Razor Hill.

Meanwhile, a team of Horde volunteers left Sen'jin to reinforce Bloodwreck Bay. A hard battle was fought over the keep, but in the end, the Horde managed to defend it and drive the Alliance back. In spite of this, the Horde fleet suffered heavy damage and many vessels were lost.

After returning from Bloodwreck Bay, the Horde rallied and managed to retake Razor Hill and Sen'jin. The Alliance then reconvened and decided to withdraw from Durotar with their primary objective achieved.

I look forward to this! Battle once more begun for the Horde forces to crush the Alliance.

On an unrelated note, Kami's profile in that hood reminds me of a bunny rabbit.

.... WAR!
Horde forces are also looking for other guilds who would like to commit to the offensive force! If you are interested please contact one of the guild leaders listed. We'll have a summit at some point for all parties interested.

Also Alliance smells and thus they will die.
This thread makes me happy.
You can count on the Warguard being there well maybe, I mean really..ITS KALIMDOR!

Awesome! More Lok'tar Ogar!
Sounds good, looking forward to more :)
The Grand Alliance will be there to humiliate the interlopers.

Also, for guilds interested in joining up on the Alliance side, I'd like for them to post here. This is so hopefully we can keep the numbers a bit more evened out, while the Alliance list doesn't get all crazily inflated by guilds who may not even show up.

Kami, let us make a wager!

If the Alliance wins; Kamiane must submit herself -thorough- inspection, by yours truly. *preps the rubber glove*

If the Horde wins; Kerdic will be at the mercy of the Kor'kron Legion for one evening, and he will be wearing Robes of the Battleguard.

Fair? Good! We shall seal the deal with blood!

This is slightly creepy.
Forrgrim told me with everything going on - the Hand is out this go around. However, I'd like to still be there on Grace and plan to practice with the Sha'nash since they so kindly offered.

As creepy as those potions the Kor'kron keeps in crate? I THINK NOT!
I salivate at the thought of murdering you all <3
