WoW Summer Challenge: July 18 - July 25 Naxx!

General Discussion
Every week this summer, we’re challenging you to get together with a few friends to explore a part of Azeroth that you may not have seen in a while, or perform a feat that you may have never done. We’re calling them World of Warcraft Summer Challenges, and we’re going to be playing along with you as we hunt down rare achievements, get screenshots of amazing bosses, and try to find some rare gear for our transmogrification sets.

This week's challenge: Naxxramas

In this thread, we're talking about this week's challenge, posting stories about experiences completing it, and linking to screenshots.

Furthermore, if you've thought of something awesome to do while exploring Naxx (that we didn't include in the blog post), this is the place to say so!
You might want to take [The Undying] and [The Immortal] off of the notable achievements, as they are no longer obtainable.

Was just going to come in and post that very same thing.
Whoops.

Thanks!
I'm really excited about this one. It's been a while since I've visited Naxxramas, and I've just put the invite to join me out to all my friends.

Gonna play Frogger for hours.
What if my main already has a full set of level 80 (and level 60) Naxx gear, with a Black proto-drake? Do I just stand as a shining example of all that could have been?

We need an achievement for that!
Hopefully I can find a group for the 25 man, been wanting to snag Damnation for a Transmog set for MoP.

You stand as the perfect example of someone I'd like to have with me while playing through Naxx this week!

Especially for the two or three achievements I never got in there. The 25-person version of "And They Would All Go Down Together", most notably.

/me sings Billy Joel
@epicfailguy you fail becuase you dont have the plagued proto-drake... jk but if i were you i would try REALLY hard for that one.
Frogger's not as fun, since it's not insta-death anymore.

I've added that to the blog post. Thanks for the reminder!
Me and one of my guild's tanks actually hit Naxx on Tuesday, he started playing when TOC dropped and so had missed Naxx and needed a couple of achievements. We cleared both the Spider and Plague Quarters and I wound up getting the achievement for not killing the spores on Loatheb. It's kinda funny, and a little sad, that two 85s can clear half of Naxx without a healer, though.
OH YES Naxxramas oh How I rember this raid!~
Stop this and just give us some new content for crying out loud, this isn't a challenge at all, it's you guys being lazy.

Honestly, as easy as that raid was, I really enjoyed running it. I may well run it since they will be looking for others this week. Probably going to start working on transmog set.

I was checking the other day, and I have raided a LOT less in CATA than I did in the previous xpacs. I think the shared raid lockouts has been a miserable failure, and has hurt raiding, mentoring and playing with friends. Just throwing it out there in hopes that momma Blizzard will see some of us are older than the developers, who are trying to play mother to us, and are quite capable of deciding for ourselves what is best or too much.
Nax is by far my favorite raid. I remember running it for my first time back in wrath and being amazed by all of the scourge and such.

I played back in Vanilla too but I wasn't really good back then, and wasn't one of the few to even step foot inside the place so it felt nostalgic to me even though it was new for me.

I have a youtube channel (lazypeon100) and a lot of my videos I have on there are videos of me soloing bosses in Nax. Currently I'm 12/14 for soloing the place, and I hope to finish the entire place before MoP ^_^!
This won't work on me blizz D:<! I'm stubborn and just want my MoP lol.
