1st R (or X) movie you ever saw

Movies, TV and Entertainment
Notice how I didnt say XXX because the rating X used to exist. It was basically what R is now.
When i was 3-4 I saw a Friday the thirteenth movie (i loved horror movies as a little kid)! But my parents wouldn't let me go unattended so I had to have an older cousin with me.

Not sure which one though. It would have been sometime in the year 1985-6 So im thinking it was the sixth one.

Funny thing is, now a days I have come to hate horror movies. /shrug
The Shining. That's R, right? I can't remember.

I watched it when I was 13 or so.
Not sure. I lived with my grandparents in the early 80s and my aunts/uncles that still lived there had no qualms about me sitting around watching scary movies with them. Was a large family with a pretty good age range between the oldest and youngest.

I remember several movies but the only ones that had been released at the time I was still living there (and not just visiting), it would be one of the following:

Friday the 13th
Halloween
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
As a kid I saw part of The Shining (I was about 4 or 5 I think).

The first R movie I saw entirely was Child's Play 2. I think I was about 11 or 12.
It's weird how you remember things like this so clearly.

Mine was Blue Thunder, 1983, and that would have been when I was 8. My dad took me to it, and boy was my mom upset with him afterwards LOL. Pretty tame for an R, in my opinion, even back then. It had some violence, nothing that explicit, and some brief nudity. Guess it was probably the foul language.

Still a good flick, in my opinion.
The Mutations.

Darn you 70s horror!
The Shining. That's R, right? I can't remember.

I watched it when I was 13 or so.

Saw it when I was about 8 or 9.
The Matrix. Yeah, I'm tame.
Alien. when i was like 7 or so
Die Hard when I was 10.
Saving Private Ryan.

I was 8 years old.

I felt cool finally being able to watch an R-rated movie
True Lies, No idea how long ago but I was small. Why I remember that I have no idea.
The Patriot, I was about 5 or 6
