You may be running out-of-date addons, that's usually the primary culprit of issues with being able to click or loot things.

Definitely not it. I'd assume almost everyone who posts a bug now kind of knows to turn off add-ons. Please at least acknowledge this
The same problem occurs when clicking on portals.
I could not click on the Tol Barad portal in SW.
I had to exit the game and restart it to fix it.

I've also fixed this by clicking on another portal I could click on then ported back to SW to be able to click on the TB portal.
I had these problems again in Molten Core last night.

First, none of the Core Hounds dropped any loot at all. They were increased in size after the patch, and so maybe something was done that prevented them from dropping loot.

Second, about half of the Molten Giants and Destroyers were not targetable. When the ones that were not targetable were killed, I had to log out and in to be able to retrieve the sparkly loot. When the ones that were targetable died, they dropped nothing (like the core hounds)- no sparklies or anything. And to cap it off, I could not target Golemagg (similar model) last night, and so I similarly had to log out and in after killing him to retrieve the sparkly loot.

I do not experience this problem in any other area of the game, and it only started happening since the patch went live. I haven't been in the Cata dungeons though since then, but I have been in Ruins of Ahn Qiraj a few times since and haven't had any problems.

We're still researching this issue. If you're encountering it can you please post your dxdiag?

Hey guys -- the guy who can help us has requested some info! :) Please help by providing it.
I wasn't sure if you needed the whole thing, considering how long it is. I just copied the display and left the long list of sound and sound capture devices out. I first encountered this problem the day after the patch, it's been following me around and haunting me since. I originally contacted a GM, who sent me to the phone tech support. The guy seemed baffled about why, but he did send me here to post.

stiky pls gooby
Bug is still present in build 16057...

Looks like an off-by-one bug: One of the hundreds of mobs and objects around my char is not targetable. After relogging that lists changes and the mob in front of me is now lootable...

To reproduce the bug: Try farming herbs or minerals.
Here is my dxdiag

http://pastebin.com/fjhtDxzz
What sucked was couldn't click on a flag in AV to cap a tower. Also, just now could not click on several mobs while running Utgaarde Keep.

The issue seems to have gotten worse for me over the weekend — I was working on my AB rep, and nine times out of ten, I could not click on a flag. Horrible. Then I tried to do a couple of dungeons on my hunter, and often could not target mobs without assisting someone else.

CRZ is unpopular for a variety of reasons, and it's introduced a number of game-breaking bugs. Why not just turn it off until the bugs are fixed?
My issue is becoming worse as well, I would say literally 1 of 3 things are broken to me, and I've been forced to log in and out consistently. I've found some workarounds, dragging another enemy next to one I can't loot so I can loot them both, or using the v command to make the health bars display over enemies heads (I can ALWAYS target by clicking their health bar) but some things there's no work around, and its become crippling to my game play.
Happend to me when doing archaeology in Uldum, I couldnt click on the fragment but when i went to find another fragment i looted it and went back to the other one and was able to loot it.
