Mouse glitch

Mac Technical Support
Not sure if this has been reported so forgive me. When I'm running fullscreen in either the 32-bit or 64-bit version of WoW everything is fine. When I switch to windowed mode because I need to do something on my iMac, the mouse cursor resets its tracking to 50% while in the desktop environment but is maintaining the tracking speed in game.
Yep i have that issue also. Very annoying, I've made a post about it already but it keeps getting buried.

WoW also resets some GFX settings upon every launch.

I have this issue as well.
Thanks for the report. Can y'all post your system specs?

Same issue with mouse I'm also unable to do other things in the background like stream video or play music. Makes the frame rate chug even on lower settings. I was able to do this with 4.3 with no issues. Granted there is more stuff going on in 5.0.4 but i figured it was worth mentioning.

Cleared caches and ran permissions repair, issue remains. Oddly enough, in game the speed is 100% still.

All Mac software is up to date and I am using a Logitech M570 wireless mouse.
New information: just logged in and tabbed over before the game finished loading. The mouse was working normally until i heard the sounds of stormwind.

So summarizing thus far we know that it:

Happens on Laptops and Desktops alike

Happens with Apple branded hardware and 3rd party

Happens on 10.7 and 10.8

For me it happens only after the game has fully loaded. It didn't happen to me when I tabbed over in a loading screen at first launch. I'm no programmer but I'd say it has to do with the setting in the game overriding the mac setting.
My .02

I am having the same issue with my mouse - tried both the Apple Mouse, Kensington Mouse as well as two different Logitech.

Pop into windowed mode and back out resets to 50%.

Also, I just don't think the overall mouse movement is as sensitive or as fluid as it was pre-5.0.4 patch - it doesn't 'feel' the same to me. But... that could just be me too.
Thanks for the additional info. I've sent this information to our team for review. I'll post back when I have additional updates :)
Thank you Mach... like with everything, problem might just suddenly disappear with 10.8.2 :) Hhehehehe

I'm pretty sure it isn't an issue from 10.8.1 that 10.8.2 will fix, cause prior to 5.0.4 there were no issues with 4.3 but it happened with the beta client (and still does in the newest build).
This is something that is still being investigated.
What's the lates on this, if anything, oh undead woolied one? I'm having it now as soon as game loads to char select.
