Videotron: Cant log in, Stuck as "success"

Great input Tyrlinger, but I disabled windows home groups upon installing... can't be that, and my network is setup as home, fully trusted.

I don't use the windows firewall at all, it's totally disabled as a service. My firewall is an independent Linux machine, acting as my router, and antivirus (havp) that scans my incoming packets. So I'm not running any anti-virus software on the pc on which I play WoW.

Yet, I have the same problem, so the root cause must be something else...
I'm with videotron and WoW is not working. But I'm not sure it is the isp... got WoW to work a couple of minutes then it DCed... was not able to log on again. Stuck at 90%.
I am also with Videotron
im at work atm , imma let you guys know once i get back
Anyone having this issue could repost with a List of your ISP, antivirus and firewall software.

do you play on wireless connection and the model of your modem or router.

this could be a big help.

Also include if your computer's edition of windows and if you have vista or windows 7 do you play with UAC disabled?

In case anyone missed this
Im with videotron as well...Wtf are those dorks doing to !@#$ wow up....Is that even possible to block one thing? I mean....Everything else work but wow. :X
And WoW worked flawlessly yesterday... as well as D3, according to my friend.

When I run a tracert, it seems to jam at the following hop:

tracert 206.16.119.53

The IP I'm tracing to is the Drenden realm's, provided to me by a Blizzard representative as we spoke over the phone.

Anyways, if you are on Videotron, and are having this issue, please call them right away, to make sure this problem gets the attention it requires before MoP launches :)
Well I sent a email to their Support councelor...for all the good it can make :x

Call 'em. =) As much as I emphasized on this needing to work next monday at midnight... they need to know that I won't be the only one affected!

If you also use Videotron's telephone service, simply dial 611.

Otherwize, call 1-877-380-2611.
you gotta be kidding me videotron might be the problem????

videotron might be the problem????

or a hop in between... but as of now, it seems like only people from Québec are motivated enough to play wow 2 days from the next expansion =P

or... that it's the route between Videotron and Blizzard that is messed up, and nothing else. In any case, call Videotron, let them know, otherwise it won't be prioritized.
i'll call them tomorrow. firdt thing in the morning

I came to techsupport thread looking if others have this problem. When i read that people that were having this issue were with videotron, I asked him if he was with videotron, he said yes.

He's calling them now.

he said it could take a few days

They have ... less than 2 days to make this right, or the number of calls will somehow increase radically.

Keep calling peeps, we need to let them know early on that this can't "take take a few days"...
So stupid that blizzard can't even answer us about that problem.....

Because it's not blizzard.

It's videotron.

Friend got off the phone. The tech rep told him 3-4 days.
