Raids open tomorrow. How can anyone be ready?

Dungeons, Raids and Scenarios
Thanks for reading what I was actually asking, but lets play along: you are positive that 469 is an acceptable ilvl for entry level raids?

...its doable at 350. We set our requirement to 360. We are ready.

450 and 460 you mean.

Also why do you need to raid this week, unless you are going for a server first.

You mean it's doable at 450 not 350 and you set your requirements to 460, lol. That is what our guild has set their reqs to as well.

It's doable at 450, getting to 460 shows dedication. :\

Yep, I was simply correcting an accidental error where someone said 350 instead of 450, lol.

Because raiding is what you enjoy?
I think the saying goes, "ready as I'll ever be".

Yeah these 4s are going to take some getting used to. Not really sure why since my cata ilvl was 410 but for some reason I always say 350 lol.

1) It's fun.
2) Shooting for top 250 US.
my body is ready
I was ready within 12 hours of dinging, 3 days ago.

Normal Raids aren't tightly tuned anymore, so having 460 will probably be overkill.

Why do you need to raid next month

Why does anyone need to raid?

Because some people take pride in their hobbies, and settling for being way behind isn't really ideal
I'm not sure you understand how the system works. There is no "minimum" required ilv for regular raids. You could ding 90 and immediately walk into the instance if you had a group that would take you. You're only limited by the difficulty of the encounter compared to you gear. For anyone serious enough to be raiding this week, a 463 ilv will be more than enough to clear normals. The reasons there are ilv restrictions on LFR are:

It is designed for casual, random, pugs. If it let just anyone in then half your runs would fail from people not being geared enough to make up for their lack of skill and coordination.

They want it to be the progression system of catch up for casuals, new players, returning, ect. A player coming into the game in the last patch would do heroics to get into t14 LFR, then t15 LFR, then t16 LFR into normal raids. If there was no ilv requirement, you would just skip through all of that and get carried to t3 gear.

Umm... We are raiders and we like to raid...? What part of questing, scenarios, and profession grinding isn't content for us are you not getting?

That's what I'm looking for. I want us to ROFLstomp normal so this week doesn't have to be high stress and we start heroics next week.
Can't wait to get home and spend the 4k honor I have stacked up on some pvp gear to bump up my 450's. Might even do the justice to honor trade in since I JP gear from the rep vendors blows anyways.

A few purple 463 pvp items > 450 JP blues.

Then there's those that go the extra mile to get 471 xD
this game was so much more fun when people didn't sit around using numbers to measure everyone's self worth
