Headset Recommendations?

Games, Gaming and Hardware
If it's wired, it has to be a braided-fiber (think Razer mouses), because I don't like it when the cables start getting twisted and I have to straighten them out to use em'.

I'm not too sure on wireless headsets, any drawbacks compared to wired ones?

Price range cant be over $100.

Any and all feedback is appreciated, thanks :)
You're not going to find too much worth a damn under $100 with all those features.

Best bet would be something along the lines of the Audiotechnica A500 (closed cans) or AD700 (open cans) and a clip-on or desktop mic. That meets your financial restrictions (barely, in the case of the AD700) and will actually give you very good sound and build quality.

Both are wired cans. The A500 has a braided cord, the AD700 does not, but it's very hefty and won't tangle.

I personally use the AD700 and a Logitech desktop mic for WoW. It has a ridiculously large soundstage and is very good with positional audio. I also use an A900 (very similar to the A500, just better) when I want closed cans, mostly for music and movies. It has too much isolation with the mic, but that's just a personal thing.
Check out the Corsair Vengeance 1500. It has a braided cord, 50mm drivers, 7.1 virtual surround sound, and a 2 year warranty.

It's $80 on amazon right now.

If the Corsair Vengeance 1500 doesn't do it for you, the only other one I can think of is the Razer Tiamat 2.2 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153088

These are what I have, work wonders.
