I'd like if a blue can confirm this for me. Do you have the same spawn rate for Shadowy Minions on both 10 + 25 man? If so, is the only difference, that the 25 man minions have higher hp?

Here's my reasoning:

A 25 man (Correct me if im wrong) are generally sending 3-4 people down per totem. That leaves 21-22 people outside that the shadowy minions could potentially target with their Spiritual Grasp. Lets go even further and say theres two groups down on 25 man, and subtract 6-8 people. That still leaves 17-19 potential targets.

Whereas a 10 man can only have 7-8 people on the outside when they send people down to the spirit world. So if you have the same spawn rate, i'm sure you see what the issue is.

So the inherent issue (All based on the confirmation that the spawn rate is the same, and that the only difference is the HP) is that the 10 mans have a higher chance at getting gibbed since there's less people to target with the Spiritual Grasp so that one person can take several spiritual grasp hits all within a second.

So basically i'd just like to know if this is indeed the case, or if 25 mans have a faster spawn rate.

Something is wrong 100%. No 10 man guild in the world has killed it, with the exception of one who has the ability to run multiple 25 mans for gear, and are on average 10 ilvls above most of ours, and most other 10 mans raids. We have tried almost everything, and come short EVERYTIME.
WTB less insta-gibs.

They didn't. If anything, the add spawn rate seems slightly worse, and still hitting for the same amount etc.

I like just sitting here as more and more 25 man guild pass us all by. Clearly everything is working as intended.

agreed, blizzard needs to get on the ball with this bug because slamming our foreheads into a brick-wall over something that was reported in BETA is a bit obnoxious at this point.

LOL... It actually seems worse since restart. Gratz 2 all dem 25 man gilds gitten dem rankz! Had Feng dead for nearly 48 hours now... GG.
So what you're saying is, you guys are going to transfer to BH, kill 25 man Garajal with us, then we'll go back to our 10 mans! (I know you can't do this just having some fun with it)

I'm Tenzai and I approved this message.
seems pretty ridiculous getting hit by 5-10 shadow bolts in a row each for about 50k damage. even by killing the adds constantly they respawn faster than they die. have tested it time and time again. the adds respawn far too quickly. blowing all cds to clean up the spirit realm only to have them respawn even faster than they die. definitely seems this specific mechanic was way overtuned for 10man
