Oh good god flag running

This game.
We have no freedoms. Unless you count Intervene which is one and requires a target in range.

We do make pretty great flag carriers, though, less because of our mobility (which is strong but not head-and-shoulders above everyone else's like in Cata) but because we have high mobility, good survivability, and a lot of versatility. We're not as good as Blood versus melee, nor can we move as fast as Guardian, but we do pretty damn well in all situations.
Avatar and bladestorm are both freedom abilities.
Although we can't move as fast as a druid, we can clear a lot of ground faster then pretty much any class.

With 2 charges (providing there is a second target to charge to that is ahead of you), heroic leap and Intervene (to your own banner if necessary) You can clear ~100 yards in about 3-5 seconds.
Or you could clear that as a druid in the same time, and another 100 yards in the next 3-5 seconds, and another 100 yards in the next 3-5 seconds, etc. Warriors can move a lot in a short time then are stuck going regular slowmo speed for the next 20-30 seconds.
we also have things like dragon roar and shock wave with the chain stun shout that can be very helpful in team oriented brawls. and a banner for every situation. While it maybe hard to accept warriors have actually seemed to make a transition to a very good support/disrupt style class rather than dps.
I find warriors shine the most as flag carriers with Shockwave and Stormbolt myself.

Being able to stun a group of attackers or disable a healer or other person at range gives alot of options other then just running away.

Mix in something like Piercing or Disrupting shout and you bring alot of control flag or no flag.

100% runspeed buff + even more superspeed + AE snare with pullback + AE knockback + treants isn't fun?
Treants are lame, banners for life.
