Brewing: Mana Tea has a new additional effect: You have a chance equal to your crit chance to generate double the Mana Tea charges.
Stance of the Wise Serpent now also increases haste from items by 150%.

Was told to not get haste due it being unreasonable to break the 8k+ haste cap, but now it seems like Haste>Crit>master over Haste 1350> crit or mastery

What are you guys thinking
Haste only affects our Renewing Mist and I think Enveloping Mist, and our cast time on chi burst. If it affected our mana regen it'll be worth it. The haste change would probably make it so we want haste to 3200 or so since the 150% increase there would make us hit the 8k 2nd tick, and then we'll go to crit for mana regen.

Haste also decreases the GCD right? Of course to get the full advantage of decreased GCD that means we're casting more and spending more mana.
We already have a 1 second GCD.
Its still a direct output increase to everything but Soothing mist + Surging mist, uplift and renew. It still benefits uplift because faster soothing mist ticks is more chances to get Chi.

Also possible that it could help mana efficiency - Soothing mist says that it costs 3000 + 3000 per second. Is that per second always a flat cost, or does it scale with the tick intervals?
I'm pretty sure it should be re-worded to say it is per tick cost like other channeled spells (mind flay, malefic grasp, drain soul/life).

for most (all?) of beta, it wasn't affected by haste, so it was always a 1 tick per second channel.
The main thing to consider here is that this means the second haste threshold (8085 rating) is accessible, as it would only take 3234 haste rating from gear to hit.

In addition, the Chi generation boost to SoM and the cost reduction to it means that Haste will be more valuable for increasing the tick speed (and therefore Chi/second) of SoM, particularly since SoM will now be more efficient for mana per Chi than Jab.

Also remember that SCK scales with haste, which is good for our burst AoE healing rotation.
