siege of org possibility

Story Forum
i think one possible reason why the alliance wont stay and burn the place to the ground is that Anduin could be captured and held ransom unless Varian leaves after taking down garrosh. pretty much the only reason i can think of not to go crazy on the place
They already said why when Siege of Orgrimmar was announced. That Varian was just going to go out to kill a bad man and that the civilians would be fine. As Wrathion alludes too, Varian is principled which is why he didn't take advantage of the chaos caused by the Cataclysm like Garrosh did.
ah thank you. lame on Varians part but understandable...

Varian isn't Garrosh.
Isn't Anduin Lothar dead?

Wrong Anduin.

Garrosh apparently has the power to take control over the Sha and if my suspicians are correct he'll merge with all 6 major Sha and become a new Y'shaarj(despite saying Y'shaarj is very very dead Blizzard refused to comment on whether or not we'll see him indicating that despite being very very dead we'll see him) with the 6 major Sha representing 6 of Y'shaarj's heads and Garrosh being head no.7(I don't see a 7th major sha around Pandaria indicating that it hasen't been created since the Emperor's 7th burden was to become The Mists of Pandaria and not creating a 7th Sha).
well im not saying kill everything even the critters, but dismantle gates, confiscate arms, maybe burn a few places down for fun ya know?
In MoP, Varian is now Jesus, and the other Alliance leaders his disciples.
