Patch Not Downloading 5.1 Help.

Mac Technical Support
I also am having a patch problem, and cannot play the game or download the patch.

I log on and the game quickly shows 0% and then that disappears and a message shows "Patch Required" Press the restart button below to exit World of Warcraft and download the patch."

I click that and it brings me back to the log in where I see "Failed to apply patch. Please try again later. If the problem persists you may need to reinstall or contact technical support".

I do not want to reinstall, I will be pissed off.

I play on a Mac.

Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac12,1
Processor Name: Intel Core i5
Processor Speed: 2.7 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 4 GB

- Already tried restarting.
- Power Cycled
- Turned off Firewall (actually never had it on)
- I see the WoW.mfl file in my World of Warcraft folder
- Went to Shared folder in my Macintosh HD and deleted "Blizzard" folder (includes "Battlenet" folder).

Help?
Also, I was reading around my client versions 5.0.5 but I also somehow bypass the Launcher which I obviously didn't intend. It just happens for some reason.
Is there a way I can download or get just the WoW Launcher?

Same as above. Can't install patch on my mac. What's the haps Blizz?
What happens when you open from the Launcher ?
Yes, do you have the World of Warcraft Launcher.app file in the WoW directory?

You should always use this to open the game, as bypassing the launcher causes WoW not to update when there is a patch available.

This isn't the same issue, Katalla.

Can you create a new thread with your issue? We don't want to mix solutions for different issues.

Tried to start the game from the launcher app and got the "inter error" message. I digitally purchased the game, so how would i go about reloading it; if that will even fix the issue.

I'll keep checkiingin every hour or so to see if blizz has an answer. if not this latest issue may be the one that has me canceling my account; payiong to not be able to play is no bueno.

I'm at the mercy of the blues.... please help!
The launcher isn't their, I think it must have auto-deleted itself or something because I has never been their. I usually click the "WoW.app" Icon and it autoboots the game.

If you could supply me with the "World of Warcraft Launcher.app" without re-downloading the full game I would appreciate that.
I'll be drafting something up shortly to help get your launchers back.

Mine is also having this problem, also a mac user. But when i go to run the launcher i get the message:
An internal error occurred, please restart. If problems persist contact customer support.

Restarting does nothing, and the message just keeps popping up.
Thanks Machkhan, eager to get my PVP weapon from points this week lol.
Please help me :(
So, while I draft up the process in an article, can you verify what files you do have in your WoW folder? A list of the files or a screenshot will do. Make sure you edit out any personal information.

Woah, you're missing both the World of Warcraft.app and the World of Warcraft Launcher.app.

The solution I am coming up with restores the World of Warcraft Launcher.app, but with World of Warcraft.app missing also, it might cause a full reinstall.

Do you know what happened to World of Warcraft.app?

The game runs fine? It may not say "World of Warcraft.app" but "World of Warcraft-64.app" functions exactly like it.

Let me try the Launcher regardless, if that doesn't work then I'll reinstall.
Right, but there should be 3 World of Warcraft files.

Here is what my folder looks like: http://i47.tinypic.com/1pzequ.png

Notice the 3 WoW files I have. They all need to be present to work properly.

Don't reinstall yet. I want to see if what I have resolves both issues.
