Frost Crit help

Mage
What % crit do you need from gear to acheive 100% crit on frozen targets. Thanks
Shatter doubles crit chance on frozen targets + 50%. Bosses have a 3% crit suppression, so you need 103%.
103%-50% = 53% / 2 = 26.5% crit chance needed.
So if we are talking pvp it would be around 23%?

When did basic algebra stop being taught in schools?

Shatter Passive
Requires Mage
Requires level 16
Doubles the critical strike chance of all your spells against frozen targets plus an additional 50%.

2X+50 = 100

X=25

You need 25% crit against a same level target.
I don't think it's even possible to get that much crit in pvp
I dont know if its acheivable either smoovie when im at 15% right now.

PS Ive been out of school for 16 years. A bit foggy on the algebra :)
15% as frost? that's really high, you must be sacrificing a ton of haste/mastery -- which are your 2 main stats as frost. Even if you're guaranteeing crits on shatters, you'll need other stats for utility and damage. I don't think you should try and max out crit, but if you like it, go for it.
Boss crit suppression is applied after the buff. You need 28% crit on bosses, not 26.5%.
It's 25% before buffs, you can get 10% from molten armor and int buff.

This is incorrect. Its 25% after all buffs are applied, or 28% against raid bosses.
