So, i know you cant do it, but i was just in a LFR with a rogue, who had daggers, transmogged into twin blades of the hakkari.

It even shows in the armory. How?
the twin blades are classified as daggers, if im not mistaken.
The Twin Blades are daggers, not swords.

So wowhead is lieing to me!
The zg set used to be swords, Warblade of the Hakkari, but in cata they made the new ones daggers, Twinblade of the Hakkari. They sheath on the back as well.
ahh ok thats what it is then, i was looking at the wrong set. thanks for the clarification.
Here's a list of back sheathed rogue weapons:

For funzies.
FWIW, weapon transmogs seem to be rather loose with the latest patch. I've transmogged my Crescent of Ichor (1h axe) to Blazefury (1h sword) on my rogue.

But that makes me wonder... does that affect damage stats? Seemed like I was swinging rather slow. But now that I look, it makes some sense. The axe was a 2.60 speed while Blazefury is 1.60.

But I can't xmog my daggers or fist weapons to Blazefury though. :(

The stats are not affected.

Two-handed axes, maces, and swords can be Transmogrified to each other.
One-handed axes, maces, and swords can be Transmogrified to each other.
Staves and polearms can be transmogrified to each other.

Daggers and fist weapons have unique combat animations (think mutilate), and can't be transmogged to other weapon types. Daggers can only be trasmogged to daggers. Fist weapons can only be transmogged to fist weapons.
