The Sunfury Regiment of the Thalassian military once held the elite status of being Kael’thas’s personal forces. They were known for their particular ruthlessness and cunning. Driven to complete their mission at any cost, these brave men and women of the Sin’dorei were noticeably responsible for the destruction of Kirin’Var Village in Draneor and the acquisition of the Manaforges. The regiment consisted of many Farstriders and Bloodknights and was supplemented by various civilian researchers and engineers. Fighting a bloody battle against the Scryers and the Aldor, the Sunfury ultimately were forced to consolidate with the captured Naaru ships the Mechanar and Tempest Keep. After Kael’thas was defeated in The Eye, he called for all Sunfury warriors to join him in the sacking of Silvermoon City. Though many followed their Prince’s orders and became known as the Dawnblade, many refused to turn down this treacherous path. Instead they joined the insurrection of Lor’themar Theron and returned to Quel’thalas. Since then, many of the Sunfury former agents and soldiers hide their once proud allegiance. The people of Silvermoon did not forget the bitter betrayal of many of their brethren. –Magister Llidan Regiments of the Thalassian Military
Tacked onto the wall boards and sign posts throughout the main cities of the Horde, from the dimly lit taverns of Orgrimmar and Undercity, to the tents of Thunderbluff, the low hanging doors of Bilgewater Bay, Booty Bay and Gadgetzan, to the grand halls of Silvermoon and the crevices of Shattrath's lower city was a letter, written in bold strokes of the pen.

Tired of being overworked and underpaid? Tired of your boring desk job? Merchant life just not as exciting as your father told you it would be? We just might have a job for you, then.

We are the Alizarin. Employed by Silvermoon's renowned and revered Sunguard militia, we are among the premier mercenary companies the horde has to offer. Numbering over three hundred strong and with specialists from all walks of life, we are equipped to handle almost any challenge our employers may throw at us.

Untold numbers of Alliance soldiers lay in shallow graves across the Krasarang Wilds due to our efforts alongside the Sunguard and other Horde forces. Over a hundred Horde P.O.W.s now walk free due to our daring prison camp raids. Our actions speak for themselves and we're well compensated for it.

Gold. Glory. Gore. These are our currencies and if you are anxious to spend them, you have no need to look any further. If you sign on with the Alizarin you are guaranteed to spend your days bathing in the blood of Alliance soldiers and your nights with Silvermoon's finest wines in one hand and her finest tavern wenches in the other.

The only question is: Why aren't you at our recruitment office already?

Proving his allegiance to the draining mental state of Lord Illidan Stormrage became more demanding than originally predicted. To show his willingness to appease his demonic ally, Prince Kael’thas sent the Eclipsion Regiment to bolster the Illidari forces in Shadowmoon Valley. Known for merciless tactics and breeding powerful white hawkstriders, this cavalry regiment quickly overran the demons and hostile forces inside Shadowmoon Valley. The majority of the regimental forces are made up of thick platemail armor which is very uncharacteristic to other regiments of the Thalassian military. Eclipsion soldiers are well known for their ability to work in small disciplined units. They pride the unity of a squad versus the individual strength of many. Hailing from the Eclispe point, these soldiers were the bulwark of the advance of the Sha’tar’s advance on the Black Temple. Their position was assaulted many times and the fate of these former Illidari is unknown. Most likely they were either killed or surrendered to the combined forces of the Scyers and Aldor. –Magister Llidan Regiments of the Thalassian Military
The majority of the military stationed in Quel’thalas is crafted from citizen militias that patrol and safeguard their own villages and lands. In the western ruins of Silvermoon City a band of Farstriders known as the Bloodhawks, fight to suppress the ravenous Wretched. Their headquarters lies within the Falconwing Square. They are few in number and must rely upon bounty hunters or reclaimers to put down the overwhelming infestation inside the ruins. They once constructed many arcane guardians to patrol the streets, but because of the feasting nature of the Wretched, these guardians were drained of the magic they needed to function. Now the guardians wander the ruins attempting to kill anything it deems as a threat. –Magister Llidan, Regiments of the Thalassian Military
Last one:

After the setback in the Tempest Keep, Kael’thas Sunstrider consolidated his forces and assaulted SIlvermoon City. Stealing the enigmatic Naaru Mu’ru, Kael’thas retreated to the sacred grounds of the Sunwell. Splitting his forces in two between the Dawnblade and Sunblade Kael’thas made a gambit to summon the Burning Legion to Azeroth. Though his forces were nearly depleted after the assaults on The Eye, his most disciplined soldiers held off the constant assault of the Shattered Sun Offensive. His forces struck a terrible counter offensive to the assaulting Aldor and Scyers and killed many of soldiers of Shattrath but were eventually destroyed when the Horde and the Alliance rallied together to defeat Kael’thas. Made up of all branches of the Thalassian Military, these soldiers employed many of the facets of Quel’thalas. A Sin’dorei fleet attempted to defeat the navy of the Aldor and Dragonhawk Riders descended from the clouds on fortified Shattered Sun positions. Though they fought and died bitterly, it is not known that any of the Dawnblade or Sunblade soldiers survived. If they did, there was an equal chance they were consumed by the demons that haunted the Sunwell or destroyed by thousands of Undead that still rampaged in the Dead Scar. –Magister Llidan Regiments of the Thalassian Military

*chucks throwing axe*
Oi. My shoulders and this thread do not get along.
ALL THIS EPIC!
I have been neglecting my duty to post in this thread, so here is something heartfelt that I probably should have said much sooner.

I love the Sunguard, every last member and all they do. They have made my time on this game exceedingly enjoyable and I wouldn't trade it, the friends I've made along the way, or the experiences I've had, for anything. I know sometimes I throw fits and say AW MAN I'M GOING ALLIANCE I'M DONE, but... I wouldn't go anywhere. Alliance doesn't have you guys.

You are my family.

Glory to Quel'Thalas!

Hmmm. Interesting.

Would the Sunguard be opposed to employing a former member of the Sunfury? Or would he be forced to hide it?
Herrooooo, Sunguard.

Make sure to keep Quel'Thalas warm while we're away.
When you guys come to join us on the 19th, make sure to lock up Murder Row.
Else those people get out and run a muck, and we don't need to spend two-day clean up again.

Hugs and kisses,
Alorinis
P.S. I left a pie in the oven, all of them. Take it out in an hour.
There better be some apple pie in there.

I don't know, probably.
