Orc racial question blood fury

Warlock
When you pop blood fury does it affect dots already on targets or only dots you apply after you pop it?
Same as anything, DoTs update on your current spell power when they were applied. Usu cast it along with DS.
Why would it be different than any other buff.
DoTs on target do not benefit from Blood Fury until you cast said DoTs while under the effects of Blood Fury.

Make this Macro for Orc Warlocks:

/cast Blood Fury
/cast Dark Soul
why not just answer the question?

Several people did before you posted.
All warlock DoTs take a "snapshot" when they are cast, and keep that profile until they wear off or are recast.

That does not hold true for every class, but in 5.2 those that don't will be changed to the snapshot system, except for shadow priests, who have a proc issue that could lead to one of their DoTs getting locked into 100% crit and spawning procs with each crit, so it has a special check built into it to not keep the 100% crit for more than 15 seconds or so.
@Methalos ok i get that macro, but what about when we get 4 set bonus and DS is 1.33min cd and BF is 2mins still. Isn't it a dps loss for me not to cast DS on cd?

Use the Macro instead of BF for your opener.

Use DS when it's up.

Use BF when it's up.

Repeat until they line up again.
Or you can do a macro like this:

#showtooltip <spell>
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/use 13
/use 14
/cast Dark Soul
/cast Bloodfury
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1
/cast <spell>

In place of <spell>, put in what you want the actions attached to. Like Meta. So the lines will read like this:

#showtooltip Metamorphosis
...
/cast Metamorphosis

That will turn off error sounds, use both trinkets and both abilities, clear the error frame (the warnings that come on your screen in red letters), turn error sound back on, then cast the main spell. If you are an herbalist, you can add Lifeblood in there as well. Trolls can use Berserking.

To be clear, using the abilities separately controlled gives you better options to line up power moves, but if you forget to use them most of the time, adding them in to a common spell or a power-move spell means you will at least get some use from them.
