New Player Help and Guides
How do u capture battle pets in the wild?
How do you tame wild battle pets?
Train in stormwind by the cata portals. YOu then can fight non-combat pets pokemon style. You can then track and capture non-combat pets in teh wild. Costs gold to train and min-level is 10 i believe.
lol .. i was trying to do something similar, now that i know..im not going to even bother about pets and pet battles..

Please avoid posting on old posts such as this. The conversation took place in 2013, which can be seen on the upper right corner of each posts. These are timestamps. They tell you when a post was made. If a post has an old timestamp like these then the content will likely be old and irrelevant. It helps if that content doesn't get bumped to the front, that way newer players won't see that and get misleading information from the first few posts.

If ever you have any questions feel free to open a new thread here and we'll be happy to help you to the best of our ability, even if it's a discussion that's already been covered.

In fact Postalz, we'd rather have a whole new discussion on a topic that already has 100 threads over tacking on random new info to a thread that's been around forever.

Unlike most forums, we prefer new threads over saving space by reusing old threads. This is mostly because the game changes VERY frequently, often in drastic ways. Info that was current just a few months ago may now be completely wrong. So a new thread filled with only the CURRENT info is better than trying to sift through pages of posts repeatedly saying "earlier posts are not correct, it's now ____".

Also, the advice we typically give is often very dependent on the character the advice is for. Faction, class, spec, level, content they're doing, amount of gold they have, how much time they can dedicate to the game, even their account type, can all affect what advice we give to the same question.
