Haha I'm sorry it's so cold up there.

I believe you guys are lucky, I've never seen the snow before. Actually, I have... but only in pictures. One day I'll get to know what it's like to not feel your extremities due to cold weather, one day...

You can sit by my campfire! There's glistening snow all around us, but it's okay, for the fire will keep us warm. ^^ o

They said it's going to hit 65° here in Phoenix. Better get my sweater.
Might as well issue some cold warnings too!
*sits by the campfire, contentedly toasting marshmallows under a blanket*

I accept your apology, sir, would you care for a toasted marshmallow?

*holds one out with a smile*

Trudging through ice, snow, and muddy slush and falling down on your way to your car, which is covered by a thick layer of ice and snow, only to find that you can't fit your key into the lock because the lock has frozen..... it definitely gets old fast. Breaking your ice scraper halfway through clearing your car off really puts a damper on ones love for winter too.

I'm gonna sit here with an open window on a balmy 63 degree (and pretty sunny!) afternoon :p

I shall hunt you to the ends of the earth! ...THE ENDS OF THE EARTH! (I'll bring pie if you let me stay, its 30 degrees here and supposed to get colder)

up here in Maine we call a snow day a work day.
Ha right, I live in Bangor and it's hardly doing anything.
I hope people truly take this serious. I have family that lives in NH and RI and they say many are not treating it anymore serious than any large snowfall from the past few years. Much of this is due to how the Weather Channel has cried wolf so many times this year by overhyping every wintery system that has produced at least 1" of precipitation this year so people are numb to the warnings at this point.

I really hope my family is exaggerating and people are taking precautions.

Actually, I'm quite jealous. I used to live in the midwest/North east and miss the ever living HELL out of snowstorms.

Tell that to the 19 car pileup on 295.

The real storm hasn't even hit yet, as well.
Working as intended.
this is funny. GJ Fretha.
My kids had the day off from school. They're thrilled.

There isn't much on the ground here yet though.

Sometimes, a Blizzard's got to do, what a Blizzard's got to do

That can be fixed with a few changes.

295 is in Yarmouth, about 2 hours south of me. Up here we have about an inch to two. Everyone was fine in that pile up from what I've heard today though. People forget how to drive when it snows.
