Melvins - Honey Bucket
I like this topic because my favorite song changes so often.

For the last few months I would have to say Duplicate Keys Icaro (An Interim Report) by Propagandhi.

It's about about the nature of existence and the perception of reality; the cosmic human experience in general and it gives me goosebumps. /gush
Ugh. I hate this question. But I'll try.

Both the german and the english version of this song anyway. The german parts of the singer yelling "Links rechts gradeaus" sound better then the english version. Simply because German can make ANYTHING sound like someone is royally angry at you. However the english version some parts of the song sound more melodic in how he's singing in english. If this makes any sense.

There's always a good chance I have this part stuck in my head:

Klopf klopf, lass mich rein
lass mich dein Geheimnis sein
klopf klopf - klopf klopf
klopf klopf, lass mich rein
lass mich dein geheimnis sein
klopf klopf, lass mich rein
lass mich dein Geheimnis sein

It's just that obviously repetitive thing that guarantees a song getting stuck in your head. I often have to knock against something if I'm listening to it.

This link is to the English version they made later. Just in case you're curious.

I realize now that this is a Christian band. I should have listened to it before responding. I guess I just really liked the topic.

I have a bunch of Slick Shoes songs in my library, and I didn't realize they were a Christian band at the time I collected them. That was a long time ago, but I still enjoy many of their songs.

East on Tracks is still definitely my favorite, it was difficult and satisfying to learn the strum pattern.

Edit: It kinda bugs me that my initial song response was an existential type thing; I wasn't ragging on the OP. I feel bad now.

Still, check out Duplicate Keys.

I am the same way. Right now my favorite is probably Carolina Drama by The Raconteurs.

Next week it will likely be something else.
Oh wait. Current fav song? Well okay then here's the one I keep listening to at the moment:

To many to list really...

But amongst my top tier songs are,

Queen - Who Wants to Live Forever
The Doors - The Crystal Ship
Alice in Chains - Rooster
Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit
AC/DC - Its A Long Way to the Top (If you wanna rock and roll)
There's really no way I could ever say that I have one. Too much music in my head to narrow down to one song.

That being said, "You Never Give Me Your Money" by the Beatles could possibly be up there on the "list", very near the top.
