Small authenticator issue

I got new phone today and have DLed the app, but unfortunately I'm having some trouble attaching it to my account.

I attempt to send a verification email. I go to my email, and there's nothing there. I waited and waited and still nothing» I tried re sending it and still receive nothing to my email.

The assumption I make is that there are site issues on Blizzard's end, but I haven't ruled out the possibility that it's something on mine. Any incite at all would be appreciated.
Did you verify that your active email address is your account?
