How to leave Blood Elf starting area?

New Player Help and Guides
I'm sorry this is such a noob question but this is the first horde character I've ever made and I need help with getting out of the boring Blood Elf area! Xo
Where are you trying to go? You can walk to the ghostlands for level 10+ questing. Or do you want to go to a different starting area?

In the northwest part of Silvermoon (Sunfury Spire) there's an orb you can click on to send you to undercity. You can also take the zeppelin there to get to orgrimmar.
The Orb of Translocation (described by Monmonn) is your best bet. Note that you have to go all the way into the Spire to find it. Be sure to wave "hi" to your faction leader Lor'themar on your way past. Sucking up to faction leaders is always a good idea!!

Just be careful if you leave before level 10. You won't be able to get quests in some of the other starting areas. Starting quests in Mulgore (Tauren zone) seem to be Tauren-only. I don't know about Durotar (Orc) or Tirisfal Glade (Forsaken).

Best of luck!!

I believe all starting quests are race-specific

Level 5 is the race-specific cut-off point, and even then, only a few of the quests are race specific, though some zones are more restrictive in that department than others. After that though, all quest that originate from the 2nd quest hub in the starting zones (the level 5-10 quest hub) are available to everyone of that faction.
holy FFFF is the blood elf starting area ever BORING........

Chose the Belf for the racials.....can't WAIT to get the FFFF out of this zone......

Heh. I remember what like over 10 years ago running this little guy all the way to the Blood Elf starting zone cause of how awesome it was (and it was new at the time). I quickly learned that I had to be level 5 to get any quests so I had to run around grinding till I was.

Go to the Inner Sanctum, in the Sunfury Spire, in the Court of the Sun. There's an Orb of Translocation that will teleport you to just outside Undercity. From there, go north and you will find two Zeppelin towers, one of which will take you to Orgrimmar.

You'd do better at starting your own thread next time. Old threads contain outdated info. How you get to Orgrimmar depends on where you are currently.

If you are in the Blood Elf zones (Eversong or Ghostlands):
-Run to Silvermoon City (your racial capitol).
-In the far north-western corner of the city, behind your king/regent, you'll see a pink orb. That's the orb of translocation
- Run up to the orb and click on it, you'll be transported to a matching orb in the ruins above Undercity (the Forsaken capitol).
- Exit the ruins, straight ahead you'll see two towers with zeppelins docking at them. One of those zeppelins goes to Orgrimmar.

There are goblins on the docking platforms that will tell you where that zeppelin goes. The zeppelins arrive every 2-3 minutes, stick around for about a minute, and leave again. When they "pop" out of existence, they take their passengers with them and "pop" in on the other side of their journey after a loading screen.
