Recommend me an action anime

Movies, TV and Entertainment
see if you can find the Berserk tv series

Yea the thing about Berserk the TV series is I heard that it ended on a bad not. So I stopped watching it and then heard about the movies. I really enjoy the movies. I can look past the bad and see the good in them. They just come out slow.

Berserk TV series ended on the most unbelievable cliffhanger, shredding every ounce of hope and sanity the main character might have as the world plunged into darkness.

and never picked up a 2nd season to explain how he survived.

Had to get the Manga to find out what happened

Watched the first series but not Samurai X.

I would definitely recommend the Samurai X OAV's then.

Is it a sequel or prequel?
Is it a sequel or prequel?

Both.
One is a prequel series, and the other is the sequel.
My personal favorites are Another and Baccano!, but they aren't very action-oriented. I started Gun X Sword yesterday because I've heard it's great, but I've only seen the first episode thus far.
Any last recommendations? My sub ends soon and I wanted to have some nice anime to watch while I take a break from WOW.

Ok thanks. I'll try them out.

I want to look into Fate Zero after I finish Kenichi the mightiest disciple. You told me about it thanks lol. I am enjoying it. I think the Manga goes on past where the anime ends. That really saddens me though. I love anime but I can't get into manga. Great shows though end abruptly. Really really great shows.

EDIT: How do you redeem the guest pass?

..

I don't honestly know, I've always been a paid member of the site. Probably in the drop down menu for your account

oh wait hang on there is a forum post on it

http://www.crunchyroll.com/guest_pass

that should do it (I think)

Ah thanks. That works. Thanks for the help.
I gotta say this though. If they continue Beelzebub.. I'd start paying for Crunchyroll just to watch that show. Was about to become my favorite anime..
Then I realized how it was going to end. Hopefully they continue it.

EDIT: Drakmor I think you just sold me on crunchyroll. I usually watch anime off of random sites but I don't think I will be able to leave 1080p
You don't know how hard it is for me to not go on and on about Steins;Gate.
Basilisk
Gungrave
D Gray Man (Noise Marie is my fav :D)

Oh god, Steins;Gate. That show was pretty great. The only show where my favorite character can die twice and survive to the end.

I watched it but it seems like they need to finish it
BLEACH!
If they haven't already been suggested, Devil May Cry anime is pretty cool and Trigun is an old school western type anime that is also pretty cool.
Bump going to look for another good one.

Sword Art Online (people trapped in an MMO again)

I wouldn't recommend watching this one. It's a trainwreck.
First 14 or so episodes were fantastic. It went on a nosedive afterwards.

I recommend you watch:

Hajime No Ippo (In my top 10)
Tenjou Tenge (very underestimated anime with some great action scenes)
Full Metal Panic! (This one might actually reach my top 10)
Historys Strongest Disciple Kenichi
Zero no Tsukaima
Konjiki No Gash Bell (geared towards a younger audience, but still awesome/ hilarious)
Shingeki no Kyojin
Inuyasha
Hataraku Maou-Sama (comedy, action and some romance, funny plot)
s-CRY-ed is worth watching only due to the guy who can do anything as long as it involves watermelon. He can use them to teleport.

Now that I think of it, any series that isn't Claymore is a winner in my book.
