Not sure if its something i did.
Assume you mean a UI reload on switching into or out of windowed mode. THAT sucks... but as of yesterday (Sat.) it was working just fine for me. I even discovered that when one changes the size/position of the windowed mode, it will stay that way even through subsequent re-launches of the game.

Suggesting that it COULD be something stuck in one of the cache files it maintains. I think there are collections of cache files in more than one spot... maybe toss them all (deleting cache files should never cause any serious harm to the application)... unless a green has a better idea! Or we find out specifically what went wrong prior to 5.2 and how it was fixed.

I think this is a known issue and you should try this : http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/7200082077?page=1#9

EDIT: Workaround:
While windowed, go to video options and change you resolution to something else (mine said 1920x1200 wide even though I was windowed, so I chose the next smallest).
Change resolution back.
You should now be able to cmd-m back and forth.
However if you resize the window manually at any point, it will break again and cmd-m will force a reload.
EDIT 2: This last bit only happens if you resize the window small enough. Problem solved!
