Win / Loss Ratio

Battlegrounds
Dosen't take much time trawling the bg forums till I notice someone stating,
horde losses all the time,
alliance losses all the time,
I think its time for the stats to do the talking, here's mine (and ive played my fair share :)

Battlegroup : Retaliation
4144 wins out of 6728 battlegrounds entered 61.59% win ratio,

mind you friends come around, occasionaly I get d/c'd and come back to find
i have the deserters buff n have been kicked out, so there's a good % there that I didn't even
get to complete. Plus I solo que 98% of the time, rarely enter with a premade and when i do theres 2-3 of us, not even in vent...

Whats your win/loss ratio? Oo
I just did a pug with you!
(we won)
2205 wins out of 4310 - 52%
Actually, over 225 games played at Level 90 Ally side since 5.2 my win/loss is 42%. If I exclude AV/IoC my win/loss is 27% on 167 games. My win/loss in AV/IoC is 84% over 58 games.

AV - 20 wins / 4 losses (83% win)
IoC - 29 wins / 5 losses (85% win)
EotS - 5 wins / 17 losses (22% win)
TP - 8 wins / 20 losses (28% win)
WG - 14 wins / 33 losses (29% win)
SotA - 5 wins / 19 losses (20% win)
AB - 8 wins / 20 losses (28% win)
TBfG - 6 wins / 12 losses (33% win)

Needless to say except for the token AV/IoC games that Blizzard throws out there, I'm not having any fun at all. The system is broken. All games solo queued (obviously).

(Taken from a separate post.. but figured the breakout was more relevant here)
This toon: 523 wins out of 779 (67% win rate)

All toons: 1787 wins out of 2940 (61% win rate)
AV: 3/22
Strand of the Ancients: 3/8
Isle of Conquest: 6/17
Arathi Basin: 11/16
Battle for Gilneas: 13/19
Twin Peaks: 10/18
Warsong Gulch: 10/20
Silvershard Mines: 18/24
Temple of Kotmogu: 14/16

My Eye of the Storm indicates 1/20, but I'm positive that's incorrect since I do the daily battleground for Conquest and Eye of the Storm was the bg a week or two ago (meaning that I've won it at least 3-4 times).
Eye stats are bugged... have to subtract the wins from the other BGs and what's left is your real Eye win total.

Or if you haven't got the vet achieve yet (100 wins), you can go by that.
Probably not representative, but still...

Total: 209/311 (67%)

40m:
Alterac Valley - 74/93 (80%)
Isle of Conquest - 83/101 (82%)

15m:
Arathi Basin - 5/12 (42%)
Eye of the Storm - 7 / 17 (41%)
Strand of the Ancients - 12/22 (55%)
Silvershard Mines - 4/16 (25%)

10m:
Battle for Gilneas - 6/15 (40%)
Twin Peaks - 8/13 (62%)
Warsong Gulch - 3/7 (43%)
Temple of Kotmogu - 7/15 (47%)

Whats your win/loss ratio?

Inaccurate because it does not record this season and this season only.
736 played, 538 won
73% win

Over 50% for every BG I think

If it showed vanilla battleground tally, it would show like 400+ AV victories and very few losses. :(

But I agree with Pozy.

Things just feel way different now.
1279/1871 wins
68% win

Have been winning a lot more lately and that percentage is slowly increasing.
IoC - 196/242 (81%) (granted, I do the premade farming of IoC almost every night)
AV - 73/158 (46%)

Arathi Basin - 49/108 (45%)
Battle for Gilneas - 27/58 (47%)
Eye of the Storm - 31/118 (26%)
Strand of the Ancients - 60/115 (52%)
Twink Peaks - 26/61 (43%)
Warsong Gulch - 33/112 (29%)
Silvershard Mines - 9/27 (33%)
Temple of Kotmogu - 6/19 (32%)

Yes I have some pretty bad stats.. but.. I'm noticing a trend in this thread..
Horde players seem to win more than the alliance players :/

edit: also, other than IoC all my stats are solo
OQ has a scoreboard for this type of thing. Horde wins a lot more than Alliance.
I only changed to horde a few days ago, but these are my overall stats so 99% alliance. I queue with friends quite a bit maybe 25% of the time, majority just solo queued though. Usually I just farm hk's and ignore objectives for the most part (About to hit 250k!)
I guess you can see how I have improved over time, the newer (or smaller I guess, 1 player has a greater effect) the battleground the better my winrate!

Released with achievements:
EotS - 180 / 336 - 54%
AV - 167 / 256 - 65%
AB - 301 / 416 - 72%
WSG - 531 / 645 - 82%

Later:
IoC - 95 / 145 - 65%
SotA - 283 / 391 - 72%

Cataclysm:
Twin Peaks - 196 / 227 - 86%
Gilneas - 227 / 257 - 88%

MoP:
Silvershard - 17 / 22 - 77%
Kotmogu - 55 / 59 - 93%

Yes I have some pretty bad stats.. but.. I'm noticing a trend in this thread..
Horde players seem to win more than the alliance players :/

Not in my experience!

Agreed, I feel like I've been losing more than winning lately :(

and yet your W/L has you over 50%

I really hate when I see people bring armory statistics into arguments about faction imbalance. It's entirely possible that John Doe a few threads under really has been losing 80% of his battlegrounds regardless of his statistics that show 80% win rate. That's purely because the statistics aren't recent unless the character is.

In s/3/4 Horde had instant queues, Alliance had 8 minute queues and won more frequently.

In s5/6/7, it was the opposite. In s8/s9 it was extremely balanced and by far my two favourite seasons for random battlegrounds. Then in s10 and the start of s11 it was skewed towards Alliance queues being lengthy again. Now we're back to Horde being the dominant.

You make it sound like there isn't an addon called Reflex or that players can't reset the statistics in the addon to reflect on the season they are or whatever they want. The stats I presented earlier are purely from the current season in 5.2.

The Alliance loses a vast higher percentage of every BG than the Horde outside of AV/IoC. This is broken plain and simple.
OQ has a scoreboard for this type of thing. Horde wins a lot more than Alliance.
Umm not relevant... that's strictly for OQueue groups. The thread is about overall win rates (for example I used to solo queue a lot more often before OQueue came along so my stats reflect more solo queues than group queues).

Just as I told you in the other thread being outplayed =/= game is broken. Imagine if the Milwaukee Bucks said the NBA is broken because the Miami Heat swept them 4-0... they would be laughed at incessantly. That's the same argument you are trying to make.
I wish horde was so dominant in the lower levels : /
