High Latency, Disconnects

Technical Support
I will start off by saying I do not blame the WoW servers yet...

I have been getting disconnected from the WoW server around every 30 min-1 hour and everytime I do I have to close the client, disconnect from my wi fi (it says limited internet access) and reconnect and it is fine.

Now the curious part about this is that it only happens when I am playing WoW. When I am browsing the internet or streaming videos it never cuts off my internet connection.

THINGS THAT I HAVE TRIED

Turning the power management so it will not turn off to conserve energy on my network adapter.

Restarted my router several times hoping that would solve the problem.

Downloading updated router software and network adapter drivers.

OTHER INFORMATION

I recieve the same problem playing other online videos games.

SOLUTIONS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

BTW my Network adapter is Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter.

If you need any other info I will provide.

1) The first thing is to uninstall Norton. It is a known issues with wow and almost every MMO. If you do not want to uninstall it then you can try white listing all of the wow files

Blizzard Launcher.exe
Agent.exe
World of Warcraft Launcher.exe
wow.exe
wow-64.exe
WowBrowserProxy.exe

Norton removal tool

I keep getting DCed as well except it is every 3-4 minutes.

Just removed! Have not tried results yet. What are some antiviruses that work well with WoW??
I tried to uninstall Norton and the problem is still here. High latency and constant disconnects.
Try this thread. A lot of Comcast users in WA are having the same latency problems.

And here is the main high latency thread for comcast users.

Now I would buy that it was a comcast or WA problem if it wasn't only happening to my computer.

I have tested this. I invited 2 friends over and we played WoW all on same internet. I was the only to experience high latency and disconnects.
Was having same issue, disabled windows firewall and so far so good.
