Grey Items

General Discussion
What is the point? I really dont mind too much on a char like this, he has huge bags, lots of space etc. But on leveling toons, especially on a different server, they are a pain. Why not just have more silver/gold per kill?
Just started a new Rogue on a new server where I've never played. Someone put a Blingbot in SW, got an Eternium Rose, sold for 200g to vendor. I am now set.
That was very fortunate, and awesome at the same time. However; going questing or finding a good group and going dungeon hopping and having no way to sell everything as your bags slowly shrink is not as much fun as I believe was intended.
Porcelain Bell

Treasure of Pandaria
Fortune of Pandaria
Bounty of Pandaria
Riches of Pandaria

Do those achievements for mostly grey vendor trash (and some usable blue BoA items for alts).

And all the pre-Mist Archaeology trash. Several thousand gold right there.

Grey items are nothing to scoff at - they can be the difference between nest-egg and brokeass.
Get a Reins of the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth.

Every character you have that's at least level 20 will be able to vendor anywhere you can use a mount. It's how I deal with smaller bags on alts.

Plus you can buy tomes for glyph/talent changing from it.

I have the Tundra Mammoth, and I understand that there is sometimes 1000's of gold from them, I have two maxxed archeologists. Perhaps limit it while questing or in dungeons where most of the time you cannot mount and use it to sell grey items.

Another person whose life has been ruined, I see.
Way back when I first started I wouldnt loot everything from all mobs - I'd scan and click what I thought I wanted to keep so that my bags wouldnt fill up.

Didn't care about gold, for a long time. Just another perspective for you to consider.
best grey item of all time...

the stoppable force!

But wouldn't it be better to just get extra gold/silver? Would of that not made your leveling experience more enjoyable?
...Why don't you just NOT loot them?
OCD. Gold. why?
OCD. Gold. why?

Because you're complaining about them taking up too much space, yes? If they take up too much space or you find something better, just destroy it or not loot it. Why would completely removing them be a better option than that?

There's addons that vendor all greys in one click. Though, I imagine they would rather have greys than have it easier to get your loot 200,000 Gold achieve.
