Battle.net Balance Restrictions
Battle.net Balance is an electronic balance you can use to purchase games and services from the Battle.net Shop.
Adding Battle.net Balance
You can add Battle.net Balance up to a maximum of $350, or $110 if you do not have an Authenticator linked to your account. Battle.net Balance caps vary depending on your currency.
From the Battle.net Shop
To ensure the security of every Battle.net Balance transaction, there may be a delay of up to 24 hours before Battle.net Balance becomes available for use after purchase. During this time, your order status will show as Pending.
Claiming a Code
Battle.net Balance code cards can be purchased from physical retailers. To find out if your local retailer stocks Battle.net Balance cards, please contact the retailer directly. Codes can be claimed in Battle.net Account Management.
Using a WoW Token
Battle.net Balance can be obtained by choosing the Battle.net Balance option when using a WoW Token purchased for gold in Modern World of Warcraft. In Wrath of the Lich King Classic WoW Tokens can only be consumed for Game Time, not for Battle.net Balance.
Using Battle.net Balance
You can use Battle.net Balance to purchase most products and services in the Battle.net Shop.
The currency of your Battle.net Balance must be the same as the currency displayed in the Shop to make a purchase. For example, if your Battle.net Balance is in Dollars, you will not be able to use it in the European Battle.net Shop because the European Shop charges in Euro. You can change the Shop region by scrolling down and clicking on the language dropdown.
Note: Additional taxes may apply to purchases made with Battle.net Balance.
Gifting Battle.net Balance
You can gift Battle.net Balance directly to a friend, or use your own Battle.net Balance to gift a product from the Battle.net Shop to a friend.
