Common Problems

When playing a game my mouse stops working randomly.

This type of issue could be the result of a driver malfunction, conflicting software, or a hardware problem with the mouse or USB port on the PC.

  1. Make sure the mouse driver is updated. If the mouse requires a special driver from the manufacturer recommend downloading the mouse driver (often included in Razer Synapse, Logitech Gaming Software, etc)
  2. Try switching the mouse to a different USB port on your computer
  3. Ensure the sensitivity of the mouse (how fast the cursor moves) has not been set to its minimum value
  4. Shut down other running programs to ensure they are not taking the mouse
  5. Reset key bindings to defaults then test again
  6. If possible try a different mouse to see if the issue persists

If the previous troubleshooting steps didn't resolve the problem, you can ask the Blizzard player community for help on the tech support forums (if available) or other community gaming sites. Local computer or network technicians may also be able to help if you've exhausted all other resources.
