Not Receiving Blizzard Battle.net Mobile App Notifications

Common Problems

  • I'm not getting any messages on the mobile app.
  • I've enabled notifications, but my Samsung phone still isn't getting messages.

Follow the steps below to make sure you receive messages on the Blizzard Battle.net Mobile App.

  1. Log in to Battle.net.
  2. Tap the My Profile tab on the right.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Make sure Chat Messages is enabled.

If notifications are enabled in the app and you're still not receiving messages, check below for device settings that may interfere with individual app notifications.

iOS® Users

Notifications can be enabled/disabled individually for each application. Follow the steps below to make sure they're turned on for Battle.net.

  1. Open the Settings menu.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Tap Battle.net.
  4. Make sure Allow Notifications is enabled.

Samsung® Galaxy S8 Users

Battery optimization settings can prevent some apps from pushing notifications. Follow the steps below to make sure Battle.net isn't affected.

  1. Open the Settings menu.
  2. Tap Apps.
  3. Tap the More Options menu designated by three vertical dots.
  4. Tap Special access.
  5. Tap Optimize battery usage.
  6. Tap the dropdown menu that says Apps not optimized and select All apps.
  7. Make sure the selector next to Battle.net is turned off.
