Software glitches and bugs can occasionally make it into live games. If you encounter one of these bugs, please report it to us using the guidelines below. Reports submitted in this fashion will not receive a response. Instead, they'll be directed to the teams responsible for addressing them.

 

Battle.Net Desktop App

If you encounter a bug, please report it to us using the Battle.net® Report Forum. Submissions posted there have the benefit of allowing a community discussion around high-impact bugs, which can occasionally help in prioritizing them. If you want to check on a bug, we also keep a list of known active issues at the top of that forum that all players can see.

Classic Games

If you encounter a bug in Diablo I, Diablo II, or Warcraft II report it to us using the Classic General Forums. World of Warcraft

Before You Report

Try checking Wowhead for any skill, quest, item, or NPC involved in the problem, and check the top-rated comments. You may find helpful instructions from other players about the issue, along with potential solutions/workarounds to known issues.

Reporting through the Support Site

If you encounter a bug, you can report it on our World of Warcraft® Bug Report Forum available on the US WOW forums or through the in-game Bug Report feature in the ESC menu. Submissions posted on the forums have the benefit of allowing a community discussion around high-impact bugs, which can occasionally help in prioritizing them.

In-Game Bug Report

Bug reports can also be filed in-game in World of Warcraft®. Reports submitted in this fashion will not receive a response. Instead, they'll be directed to the teams responsible for addressing them.

To report a bug in-game:

  1. Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
  2. Click Support.
  3. Click Submit feedback or bug report.
  4. Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
  5. Click Submit.

Restoration Requests

If a loss of in-game property occurred in World of Warcraft as the result of the bug you are reporting, please submit a ticket to request restoration. While every effort will be made to verify and correct any loss experienced, restoration cannot be guaranteed.
