- Getting message "You can only equip 1 item in the Kraken's Eye category" when I try to equip my new ring
Items which say that they are "Unique-Equip" in the tool tip can only be equipped in one active slot at a time. Trying to equip a second one gives you an error. This also applies to gems. If you are trying to equip a second item that has a Unique-Equip gem in it, you will get a red error message telling you that you can only equip one of them.
Some profesions such as blacksmith or gemcrafter provide items that require the profession to use. Unlearning the profession will remove the bonus from the item and it is not possible to remove the gem or object from the item's gem slot once socketed. This is intended.
You can replace gems in any item by putting another in the same slot, but it will destroy the gem that is currently socketed.
